Hello, brothers and sisters in Art!

I used to post around here a few years ago. Since then I learned a lot of things and am now back to share and exchange inspiration.
Been lurking around for a while but I thought it's about time I started posting again.

Nice - really like the lines on the girls midway - and it's looking good all in all - should be interesting to see where this SB will go

Scanned some sketchbook pages. Still haven't figured out a way to put them together properly, but here goes

nice again - especially like the face/lines/shading of the piece/scan third to last.

Your sketches are really cool! I like the style of strokes you have.
in your last colour study, her right eye seems a bit off and the value of her lips seems a bit too light imho.
But keep it up!

Aaaand a sketch of a character I thought up that will probably be recurring. He's a brainy, intelligent goblin, unlike his fellow countrymen.

wow love your stuff! And I really like how the sketchy stuff looks, but still would be nice to see that pushed further. As long as it maintains the awesomeness thats in the sketch haha. I dont know I just love when sketchy loose work looks good.

So here are some sketches, ideas and other works-in-progress that I've been fiddling with:

Thank you Farvus. Malakuko thank you very much! I try to keep the sketchiness in things that are more finished, too, because it looks more fresh and I never get bored of it.

rockcandy - I use Photoshop. Custom made brushes.

And here are some shamans and other things that I've been doing for a personal project.

A character that popped in my head. Her armor is made of dragon scales.

I echo others when they say this is a strong start. Nice characters especially.

Vulgar` - Thank you, sadly I really need to start up on environments because characters really are my strong point. Soon to come, some of those, though.

Here is a guy that I thought up to be a xaositect, if anyone has played Planescape: Torment. I am working on a colored version of him, too.


And since I finally learned how to properly use layers in Photoshop, I did an armor study. I need to do more of those, really fun stuff.

Wow, got really impressed by the reflections in the helmet there! Your digital works looks great, and its very nice that you put up the images in a wip state aswell, gives one an idea of how you work. I'd say just keep drawing faces and bodies, pay atention to the volumes and don't be afraid to use contrast. Take care!

Wow! Great stuff in this SB. I really like those shaman sketches you did and that last picture of the knight. His armor looks fantastic! Keep it up, looking forward to seeing more.

So here is a landscape, finally, after a long, long, loooong time of not doing any. (it's more of a warmup than anything)

Updatesssssss! Very lovely, i just want to tell you something about the environment, it doesn't have that depth that we were talking about today.

If you look at moth mountains you will see the both have the same contrast and tones but you drawing shows that the right one is behind the left one so because of that you need to darken the left one or slap some light make the values softer on the right one.

Remember closest things to us have more contrast and the ones that are away should look like they fade.

Yes mousey, I know I have yet to master depth. I think practice makes perfect though, and I don't want to get back on that one, I'll just keep doing more.
