ConceptArt.Org 4.0 begins feature roll out this week.
Hey All!
ConceptArt.Org 4.0 is a new feature set for you all, which will provide improved experiences and support here in the community. It is an entirely new package of sites and tools which have been designed from the ground up to better support what we all do, and need, to be successful. Much has been learned, and thanks to the support of you all here, and that from www.theartdepartment.org , we are beginning to carefully roll out the goods.
The features, about to be launched, came from asking the question of "what does the community really need first, now that education is in place?". The response was, jobs...opportunity. This an entirely new employment feature, which when we kick it off, will immediately be the most comprehensive jobs provider for entertainment art. We will be supporting a host of creative fields and further growing this area as time moves forward. If you are one who needs a job, this week you are going to see what is available right now, industry wide, all brought to you right here on ConceptArt.Org
After a delayed code update (eight months was a long time to be patient) from Jelsoft this week, upgrades like the custom designed batch uploader, and forums update is back on track for launch shortly. As these features are integrated further, tools in 4.0, built for us all, will come out over the course of the year.
This has been a nine year project for me and I am very happy to share that we are making progress, have much to share, and all the volunteer time has been worth it.
