Exclamation THOR - MOVIE CONCEPT ART/ June 20/ All images in first post

Now, two weeks after the successful release of "Thor" it's time to show some of the stuff I've been working on 2 years ago!
It's been a great time working at Marvel Studios with a very talented and even nicer group of people.
Hope you guys enjoyed the movie as much as I did.

IMPORTANT INFO: THE ART OF THOR BOOK SIGNING/PANEL:
On May 21 I will be at Gallery Nucleus for an artist panel and book signing together with my fellow artists who also worked on "Thor":

    Charlie Wen
    Ryan Meinerding
    Vance Kovacs

    http://www.gallerynucleus.com/event/312

The Art of Thor is a nice collectible for all the peeps interested in how the visual style for the film was created.
It's 240 pages showcasing a great deal of the concept art for the film and comes in a slipcase with a nice spot varnish printing.
If you can't get your hands on a signed copy at Nucleus, order here: http://www.amazon.com/Thor-Art-Movie.../dp/0785151303

    See you there!

    Awesome stuff as usual, Michael!
Already saw these in the book but it's different feeling seeing these in bigger version. Definitely better!!! Look forward to seeing your next film work.

Michael kusH! LOL. That is how I pronounce it anyway. XD Lovely work man as always. The fist odin piece is my favorite so far. I am curious to see what other goodies you have laying around on that machine of yours, that is pertaining to this Film. I have yet to see it. Glad to know that one of my favorite artists worked on this one. I only hope one day you do a book with your work in it. My wish anyways. XD

Wow, you are a fantastic concept artist. But I think you noticed that when you got hired for this movie.

I love your works and the realistic style. I especially enjoyed Odin's throne and that last image Frost giant h2.

    nice.
There is something about the Frost Giant Weapons d3 image that pulls me into the world a bit more than the others. It's the expression I think...a lot is said in it.
    nice work.

BRILLIANT work! MARVEL Studios rules the cinematic world! Awesome movie... So is it because the helm is Thor's crown and that's why we didn't get to see him wearing it? Will he wear it in the Avengers???

The Avengers should be the greatest movie ever!

That group shot of the Frost Giants blew my mind. Awesome work. The face on that tallest Frost Giant (1 row back)...I can't take my eyes off it!
