I just wondering how can I paint tiles like roof, or ground esilly

Hello, I'm newbie at here. And I studying building concept art.
Well, My question is very simple. When I paint building like warhammer concept art, I feel great desire to skip very boring progress like paint the tile, and roof.

I think I could use custom-brush, or use texture resource to apply here, but I wondering is there any thread or tutorial, or custom brush setting?

Please help me, and god will bless you.

I attach the reference one which I referring to my painting now.
And I want to use some trick, or Technic to paint tile maps

Why don't you create your own custom brushes or textures?
..anyway, i think that this may help you in the first stage, but the best is work the detail in that ""boring process"".

I think that the mix of both helps to get the best result !
I'll be checking this to read the opinion of other people.. it could be interest to read what others do for their pieces !

You can overlay images to use that as a texture and make it believable only after you've painted stuff like that good. Or stuff mentioned above. Or, draw it by hand like your ref.

You can paint a few tiles, copy/paste them, and continue putting them together until you have a large enough texture. Then use the Warp tool (edit-transform-warp) to wrap it around your image without making it look flat. Remember that it's always good to paint back over something you've textured, to make sure that it has the right 3D effect and that your lighting is correct. Also, keep in mind the subject matter: If it's a perfectly symmetrical object then you'll want to use vector tools and straight lines, but if it's something like what you have above, you might want to draw the initial pattern slightly asymmetrical to prevent it from looking fake. Sorry for the text wall - hope it helps!
