Looking for a student/intern to help storyboard and create visuals for director of an independent feature film project which begins shooting immediately. This is a micro budget feature and we are looking for help with storyboards via an intern because we can't afford a professional. We hope this will be a win-win opportunity for everyone. If we had the money we would hire a professional but we don't. So we are trying to be creative and offer this opportunity to a student who has talent and could use the experience and credit.
Must have storyboard examples and portfolio of work to show. Responsibilities will be to storyboard scenes and work with photoshop to put together mood boards. Internship begins end of May through end of August. Prep starts in Manhattan then moves to film location which is in upstate NY. Your official credit will be "Storyboard artist" and "director's assistant". You will help prep the movie and work throughout the shooting of the movie.
You must have the following:

-Self motivated
-Ability to use photoshop
-Fast
-Ability to work with director and assist where needed.
-Flexible, team spirit, positive attitude.
-Willingness to travel and work on location.
You will work directly with the director to storyboard the film and create the visual mood boards which the crew will use to understand the vision of the movie. You will come away from this internship with hands on experience and a film credit. The producers and director will personally help you with you with your career and mentorship for future work.
Full time according to internship rules. May 30th - August 26th. $500 total payment for project. Plus a stipend will be offered to cover food.
