    I really like your work. I'm subscribing.
    My Sketchbook

    And then God said, "Let us make man in our likeness and our image. Let us make him ridiculously hard to draw so that poor artists everywhere will have to spend 10,000+ hours failing repeatedly before they can begin to capture the form and likeness onto a two-dimensional surface." And there was man. And it was good. And artists everywhere lost their minds.

    @Velocity Kendall - Thanks!
    @Icecold - Thank you!
    @NickyBeats - Thanks! I never even entered that particular ChoW.

    @Lightship69 - Thanks man, I'll try not to disappoint.
    @eyestrain - Thanks!

    Just a sketchbook 'page' and another sketch that I took to a more finished stage to get used to painting with the digital medium.

    Really beautiful stuff man, thank you so much for your critique!
    Quick crit: Your latest - his middle finger is too short, and the separate planes of his ring finger come across
    better in the sketch, you simplified the bend in his joints to just the one in the middle, instead of the nice subtle bends you have in
    the sketch between the middle and distal phalanges.

    @vigostar - Thanks!

    @carakhan - Glad I could be of some help. Thank you for the crit as well. I had seen the finger length issue after I posted the image. I fixed it but never re-posted. The issue of preserving the subtleties of my sketches, through to the finish, is something that I struggle with still. Thank you for your observations on this as well.

    @Velocity Kendall - Thanks! I am of Mayan descent, so I find the imagery of the ancient culture very appealing.

    Just a sketch and the final for the DnD contest. This is the Orc cook.

    Hi matey

    Hope you're well and firing on all thrusters as they say in star trek circles, Like the updates my mate but just do one thing for me, you just gotta render up the singing rat dude and put him in a rat bar or talent show, with maybe a rat Simon Cowell looking on please! please!

    Yep I know I'm kinda daft but hey I'm old (48yrs) so its expected of me (well it feels old!), I'm told that I'm regressing back to my childhood, which is worrying when I think about it as I didn't really get all the way out of it!

    all the very best to you old chap, stay well and keep posting and inspiring us plebs!
