Some randoms for today, I was bored so I drew a Nu Mou...actually the truth is I've been wanting to play Final Fantasy...but I can't seem to let myself have the time to...I decided making something from it was a healthy compromise >_<

I love your use of texture in your digital stuff, it gives it a really pleasant solidity. Your still lifes are nice as well, the attention you give to the reflected light is great.

However, your figure studies tend to have really long legs! Watch out for that. (I noticed because I tend to have the same problem :I)

Hey, wanted to thank you for stopping by my SB. Looking through yours I see some definite improvement, keep it up! I need to step it up after looking through your posts! One thing I noticed is that you have good line quality and your coloring is good, I would like to see you work more on form and structure, try building the figure without using line, use light and shadow to build up your subject. Thanks again!

Looking pretty good! I think you should just keep up what you're doing and continue practicing.

The only suggestion I have right now is with your circular/egg shaped objects-- the edges are a bit too sharply defined & perfect to be "real"! Even the most circular shapes have imperfections and they won't be 100% round. Try working on the transitions a bit more and avoid using too many layer masks. Or, if you do, be sure to go back in and manually add a few spots to break up the implied line. I think it'll add to the quality of your paintings and still lifes.

Syrella: Hey thanks for the crit...you're totally right...sometimes I think I'm afraid that it won't look good if I veer away from that perfect egg form shape, or perfectly sleek arrmour form, it's certainly something I have to work on! Thanks

Here's a totally lame update...today is one of those days where I just didn't get anything done...seems like I've been having a lot of those lately T_T

Oh wow, amazing progress here. Your faces and figures are looking better and better. At this point, I think I would be a great idea to put more time into some personal work(Yeah, I should really be doing that too). It's a great way to know what you really need to improve at.

Keep on rocking, at the rate, you'll kick everybody's ass in no time at all!

Aaron_: Hey man thanks a bunch! I'm working hard...I guess XD but you're totally right I really should invest more of my time into personal work, as lame as it sounds though it just doesn't grip my attention as doing a study. I really need to work on that.

Hey so I got a scanner yesterday, but I didn't feel like scanning stuff late at night...anyway here's I dunno 9 or 10 pages from the past two days...I do pencil stuff all the time, I just never was really able to show it because I never had a proper way to really get it on the computer...taking pics sucks XD

But yeah...here's some stuff from today and yesterday...as well as some quick digis from today!

    Very nice studies!

If you want to get into personal work, but are finding it hard. Try some of the challenges again. I find it's very motivating and gets you thinking about how to make things from imagination.

    Hey Buddy

    Great studies!
These character poses. body part studies - hands, legs, noses, mouths, eyes, all these stuff is really good. And i am pretty sure they will help you a lot in your journey

There's a lot of potential in your old stuff! Don't leave it - push these Bouguereau study forward! Its started really great!

Also like a lot first stuff from page 4. I like these "searching for new territories" aspect.

I think combining your new skills with old works curiosity could help you a lot

Obstfelder: Hey thanks man! I really should look into the challenges again, maybe it'd spark me.

Fernteixeira: Hey! That means a lot especially from you, your stuff is pretty badass, and I totally suck at animals so I'm glad you liked them XD

tsabu: Hey thanks, and I took a look back at some old stuff, and you're right...some of it wasn't as horrible as I once thought...thanks for that!

So uhm yeah here's some stuff from today! I painted some 10-ish minute landscapes...haha...focusing on colour, it's always a fun exercise, rendering be damned XD

Uhm posting some pencils, and a dude I made today all by myself from my head haha....it's fan art, I played a lot of Golden Sun as a kid, I always loved Saturos the blue bastard

EDIT: Fuck me man...I'll make the studies smaller tomorrow, sorry about that...
