    Great Studies you have there!
Like your blocky approach to anatomy, these sketches will give me inspiration for months!

ja1307: Thanks and yeah you're totally right. It's something I'm working on, I think it's getting better albeit very slowly XD

Streben: Thanks a lot, glad I could be inspiring ^_^

kevin_: You're totally right man, I really have this big fear of failure. Doing work from my head just exposes my weaknesses...it's really something I need to work on. I have to stop being so afraid.

e-nat: Oh my, thank you very much

Annnnnd here's some stuff erm...more scraps I guess.

Really good face and head studies! They are quite inspiring, I believe I'll begin working on something in that matter.

Streben : Aha thanks a lot man...I dunno if I'll ever finish them, they were fun to do while I was doing them though ^_^

DARKTHUR: Thanks man, I'm trying to do the heads everyday, well very consistently everyday, till the end of the month. Then I'll switch it up, and do some other kind of face study

Mepainter: Erm...I'm not Ven...aha...the name is in my sig cause he's my friend and I'm trying to promote his SB too...although he hasn't updated in forever...T_T...but anyway yeah I'm assuming you're talking to me..so thanks!

    decayindecline: Sweet thanks man!

revelarts : Ahhhh I wish it was fifty images T_T. You joke, but it's my hell I feel like I'm so lazy all the time...I'm really overly critical I think XD Thanks a ton though dude, your words mean a lot.

    tj0ri : Thanks dude! A ton, aha...^_^

Ahhhhh sometimes, okay when we went down for that month, I totally forgot, what it's like to be a part of a community...and so I stayed away for awhile. Now that I'm trying to be back, and trying to be active like I was before, I'm remembering just how awesome it can feel to be a part of a community like this. Say what you want about CA, the way it's run, how it looks, whatever, to me it's a pretty awesome place to be. So anyway thanks to everyone, who comes in here, drops a comment, looks through my stuff, I love it all. anyway now that I got my mushy feelings for this place out, we can art. Pretty lazy again...just typical stuff studies, you know. I don't know why I find it so hard to just draw sometimes, I guess that's the big thing I need to work on, transmitting my own ideas on to the page or canvas. NEW GOAL! aha XD

Great stuff as always! I like those skulls, very smooth! One thing I noticed is that when you’re doing the head sketches they seem to have too small heads. I’m not a pro you know. I have big issues about this myself.
I’m glad to read the text in #642. It reminds me of how great this community is! Thanks, and keep it up!

    tj0ri: Thanks a lot man!

JBogart : Aha, I wish I had more time study XD But yeah you're totally right, I get burned out a lot and I think it's from me not doing what is typically considered "fun" drawings, it's weird cause I find studies to be super fun. It's easy for me to get caught up in that.

Chris Sanders: Hey man, maybe soon I'll pull some of that together, life studies sound like a good idea!

Greenhouse: You know, I think you're right, hmm I guess I just like small heads. But yeah, you're right this place really is great.

Hey guys, here's some new stuff! Hopefully everyone enjoys, I went back to trying to use the soft round all the time on a couple of them, errr the armour in particular. Man I never realized how crappy that looks. XD

Thanks for commenting on my sketchbook. Your studies are really coming along and so are your rendering skills. I would suggest trying to draw more from imagination too. It's good practice to take what you learned and apply it. You can also learn a lot about where your weaknesses are.

Loving that female nude study. Particularly the colours.

The piece that appear more finished are really strong - you should push to get thoose finishing touches on! The megaman is great! I think its the highlights and how it contrasts with the background alongside the fact that the top part of him is more finished. It's a good composition

The skulls are also remarkable, I like the amount of texture you put in. Would be interested to see a skull coloured?

kevin_: Sweet thanks man! Always great to hear from you.

Istmin52: Thanks man, and you're totally right it's something I'm trying to take a more active part in. I'm really trying to force myself to really "draw" everyday, just something for me.

luthertaylo: Haha no worries for the asspat man, it's good to hear I'm doing good. Come back again!

KateyParr: Oh! Thank you very much! ^_^ Aha, I have a trouble finishing things I think, along with imagination I really need to work on bringing things to a finished level.

ChisLu : Cool thanks! Erg, I was in your SB yesterday, now I feel sad about commenting, and I was going to as well T_T I'll make it back over there soon!

Uhm heeey, here's my scraps and scrumps from the past couple days...erm...enjoy! I like goblins these days I think...

A lot of improvement! The gray-scale studies look excellent. The skulls and the bust in 635 have a lot of form to them. Keep pushing those designs! Maybe make a few more finished illustrations with these, I'm confident you have the ability to pull it off.

Saraiva : Aha thank you very much! I really should push my stuff more, I remember I told that to someone the other day, practice what I preach I suppose. XD

Lisa497: Why thank you spam bot, unfortunately that was a year ago, I'm older and wiser now. Although I do feel sometimes, that if I had just put colour into that one image, my entire journey would have been leaps and bounds easier. My oh my, how the time flies these days, the regrets of the past seem to pile up, and yet we just build new ones everyday. HAHAHAHA

Jaik: Haha thanks man, A LOT! I'm really trying to improve with everything I do these days, tackling weaknesses tends to help, I'm trying to get over my own fear of failing. I'm not sure how good I'm succeeding at that, but I feel like I'm getting somewhere, for once!

anivy: Thank you very much, to be honest, I use a lot of soft brush, it's a total crutch, but for smooth areas it really helps.

Brink!: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I wish I had an exclamation mark in my name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously though, thanks a lot for the compliments.

p sage: Hehe thank you, and when you say it like I that, I sound like a crow, obsessed with shiny things XD

Uhmmm, here's a quick update on another of my little orc/ goblin heads...you guys never saw the B&W...uh oh haha...I'll try and put up my studies later, I have a feeling it's going to be a busy day though.

wow, great work ethic you've got! when you paint do you generally start from the inside of a shape and paint it outwards? or draw lines and fill it in? i would try making big globs and carving them out with big brushes (as a stylistic exercise)- if you start refining your big shape design it will be a big progress. Also i'm seeing alot of armors- you planning any paintings with knights in them? can't wait to see!
