CR Faerber: Thanks man, and yeah work all the time, it's the only way!

amaranthxx: Hey that's awesome Bridgmans Guide is really one of the reasons I'm here today. But, for other things, I've never really studied any sort of perspective texts, I'm under the impression that it's one of thsoe things that comes naturally if you just observe enough, and do enough studying. In terms of anatomy, one of my all time favourites is Vanderpoel's "Human Figure", uhm Loomis' figure drawing is also pretty good, although I am kind of hot and cold with that one. Michael Hampton, Figure Drawing: Design and Invention, is really great, especially if you're looking for a nice way to construct your figures, Vilpuu's Drawing manual is great as well. In some ways it's similar to Hamptons, but I find it to be less rigid. Now, I'm not saying you can, but if you do a google search...all of these might just come up as pdfs. But I never said anything. Haha...but overall, all the books in the world don't really help if you don't suppliment it with looking at actual people, I love, lovecastle.org they have a gesture drawing tool...places like pixel lovely have it too. I'm just partial to the one I mentioned. Anyway, good luck XD

    HarbingerofIllRepute: Gadzooks

Eternal Apprentice: Haha thanks man...I've got some studies to put up later in the night. YAY

Hey guys, here's a quick WIP. Hope you enjoy it, gotta love the Brad Rigney blue. XD

Your skills are really coming along, Glad your here to help us all out . It is helpful for me to see sketchbooks that show Improvement such as yours. I wish I could help, but looks like you are working on what you need. Thanks for the help in my Sketchbook, for some reason I hadn't noticed the darker blues going to shades of grey.

Hey man real nice work going on in here!
I think your biggest improvements are your colour choices and edge control in your digitals, they've really sharpened up over time and practice.
I read Ville's comment about Gurney and Sargent in one of your previous pages,
they helped my charcoals and pencils improve a lot for me so if you haven't had a look at them
I highly recommend Gurney's Colour and Light book for painting and Sargent's for drawing and values.
Your pencil work for your figures and faces are rendered beautifully and your proportions seem great so keep pushing man!

Oh lordie lordie lawd... Your hand studies are killing me.
They look so clean, so alive, not dead like mine, rofl.
I mean, the way you draw ONE line, i draw a thousand.
Clearly you've got it all under 1000% control! Awesome work man!

Stryno: Hey man no problem and thanks a lot, I'm finding that I know more than I think I do sometimes...so I'm always happy to share the knowledge, if I can help someone not make the mistakes I've made so far, that's great.

jakubvavrik: Thanks man! and yeah some of them are...but a lot of them are my hand, and I do have pretty long fingers.... AHHH it's probably my fault haha...thanks for pointing it out.

BenjaminJL92: Thanks man, I've had Gurney's book for around a year now...I read it cover to cover when I got it, and now it's sitting beside my bed, I've been meaning to make it my night time reading....haha. I've actually always been kind of intimidated by sargent...I'v etried a bunch of master studies of his work...and they tend to fail pretty bad. But I'm gonna keep trying,

Lyraina: Thanks, I was really trying to push for that.

Murderotic: Haha thanks so much, but a lot of times I feel like I'm not doing much better than I would be scratching something into a rock. I'm really unsure of myself and my abilities. Haha...but thank you so much for you're words.

Jesus Food: Yeah man, it is a long journey, it's been the longest, yet best year of my life.

    tsabu: Thanks man I will!

Eternal Apprentice: Haha I wish I could do the same thing man!

kevin_: Thanks man...I'm trying to push it, hopefully it doesn't turn out like complete shit. XD

    dhilipsomesh: thank you very much!

Liberty : Oh my colour?!? HAha thank you, I'm so not confident with colour, compliments on it always take me aback.

    Tofa: Thanks man! I'm trying.

BlackLightG: Haha thank you so much

TNiznet: Man, it's funny I don't think it's really all that good...but I mean I'm super happy you like it! Come back again.

Hey guys, here's the digital studies from the past two days, uhm and a WIP for the new Teen Challenge...lots to do on it, busy busy.

OH and I don't know if anyone noticed, or cares, but I put my skype name in my profile, it's in the corner of my stuff in the post too...I mean I'm sure you get what I mean...if anyone's bored and they wanna talk, feel free to add me. If I'm on I'm more than happy to talk about art, or really anything.

Looking great bro, seeing some nice hard work! but in the last eye with the reflection of the sword, the reflection should be a bit distorted because the eye is a ball. I'm thinking of a piece by Esher. Link

JerryActric: Haha thanks man, but I think the same thing when I see your progress O_O and totally, I can't wait, I mean I've been drawing for a year...I'm no where close to where I want to be, but I have improved since I started, so I really can't wait until I actually get good at this.

Steeliebob: Dude you're totally right thanks, I don't know how I didn't catch that.

Azimuth: Thanks man, I really really like that one...he's an evil dude haha.

reborn-gp: OH thank you very much.

BoxOfSecrets: Thank you, that was actually the main point of those studies, is to get a better handle on natural looking skin tones.

FalconessN: Hehe, thanks you so much. ^_^

Matija Vuk: Thank you, and I really love that sort of graphic inked look as well.

Liberty: Haha thanks...still not good enough though.

Jaik: 11:11 make a wish. Hey thanks man ^_^ Glad I could inspire you, I still think I'm not working enough though. T_T

Lyraina : Thank you very much. Fingernails eh, hmmm maybe.

Hey guys, ever had one of those days, where stuff just sucks...well that was today for me. I felt like I just couldn't draw...wahhh. Anyway, tomorrow is a new day, gonna buck up do some studies work on some work and get back in the saddle. Anyway, uhm some hands...there's 50 I think, they were fun, I was doing gestures of them, one a minute. ^_^ Some are Bumskee's some are mine, and some are from photos...uhm what else a WIP of the WIP...uhm a fail portrai and a fail life study, what did I learn today...that mid afternoon sun is damn hard. Also got my pencils...blahhh not enough. T_T
