I think the values are especially messy in #3. its' hard to tell what is going on at first glance.
Barbarian's arms look a bit oddly posed...

Regarding the barbarian:
I like the visceral, first glance impression of his expression, even in this rough state.
Everything else that is going on in the image's left side is almost completely incoherent. With everything uniformly bright, the form is lost (and it distracts from the face, which I think ought to be the focus.)
There seems to be a host of anatomy issues. Also his eyes look a little high on his head to me, and his nose seems to be a slightly different perspective than his face.
