Good well rounded progress. I'd really like to see more sketching though. Concentrate on shapes and planes and the negative spaces these might create when painting. Stop using black for now. Stay away from it as much as possible. Build up to darker areas using values of the colour rather than using black.

    Keep at it!!

Brashen Thanks for stopping by man. Yea, I still dont know how real values works, lol. As for shape and planes still working on it =). Hopefully it would come anytime soon. Also, I'd take pictures of my sketches soon when I find the time. Thanks again for the feedback.

Stuff from today some of them just picking up where I left of. I havent been able to finish a painting lately. So yea.

    Hey ^_^

There's some nice stuff for sure, watch the saturation when you're doing digital, you seem to blow it out some time. Also watch your heads some of those head shapes at the top of the page are looking a little wonky, squished and fat. Hope that helps in some way...keep it up, you're doing great!

I'm really liking your pencil work. The way you block in the figures, and render along the planes on the skull practices. I think your pencils are strong, and if you keep pushing that aspect, you can do really well in the future.

However, I feel you're struggling a bit with levels right now, especially in the digital colour works. Watch out for those plane transitions and don't oversaturate your images. And when doing a study, remember that observation is more important than the actual execution, so please look at the source very closely. That will bring up the level of your studies quicker than you can imagine.

These are a few basic crits I can think of right now. Keep updating, and have fun drawing.

Vritra Hey dude, thanks for critiquing my work. I appreciate the advice. I will try to do that more, I am just lazy when it comes to posting my pencil work. To be honest I dont even know what you mean by oversaturating the images I dont know how saturation works coz im still trying to figure that one out.

Studies, the first one was done before I went to work, the 3 landscapes in the middle was inspired by this (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...t=53517&page=4 ) I tried to use that approach by using only values and colours that complement each other. I really like how it turned out and im going to explore that more. the last one is a quick one about 30-40 mins.

Great start! And you are like some sort of art machine. Keep it up, can definitely see improvement from page one to six. I would suggest watching the size of your eyes on your people though, they are rather large (an issue I have myself) and your colours are very vibrant and not too realistic yet, again, that takes time and practice. Keep it up!
