Soooo I know this is a bit late however, the meeting on Saturday went extremely well. We had a decent turn out for a change and it was really nice seeing some new faces in the group! All WIP's for the "Gritty Robot" are due on Saturday. Now that I have a finished resume, it's doing the rounds for feedback, I'll be spending all day tomorrow working in both Maya and ZBrush as well as working on silhouettes for my "Gritty Robot" which I'll be posting to my highly suspect sketchbook thread.

PS: Britt, how's that flyer coming? Need help?

Hopefully you get the pm too! But yeah I have a mock up ready--It just seems a bit empty x.x' I'm wondering if I should throw in some sketches or if someone would like to volunteer work.

I made it for BW that way we can print on campus no charge, and then it's ready to be passed about.

Not a graphic designer, >.>' so yeah...I'd like some help there--XD Since that's an area you like Mike!

    Progress on the ThunderDoooome.

Here's some shots on the work--I was thinking something like a scout sort of character, Pulling off rust or grit in the thumb isn't something I normally do--Will probably grunge this up more as I go.

^-^ Can't wait to see what everyone else is doing!

Mike, you always schedule these things during my Guard weekends. Luckily for you and me, I am done now, this past weekend was my last weekend ever in the military! W00t. also, is there a new t-dome going on? is it too late to get in? do you still need my number?

OK so here's the deal. After talking to Lou something clicked. Having a t-dome that take place over time is like having homework and that's no fun. So my proposal is that everyone grabs reference and we do it as a live t-dome at the next meeting and set a time limit. That way we can all talk, draw, hang out, etc. Thoughts?

That sounds good to me, Mike! I have finals this next week and I have to move out of housing, so I'll probably be too busy to spend much time on it. I did scribble down a few robots yesterday morning, so I might as well post them...

Excellent Idea. I have enough to do as it is at home.

BTW if anyone is interested, there is a Polycount Meetup tomorrow. Skrubbles? Peter?

So hopefully everything is on for next Saturday. Are we going to try for the same time or would earlier work better. One downside of the later time is that it is harder to find parking. How does everyone's schedules look?

I'm open for whenever so it depends on everyone else. My thumbnails are complete. Would have posted earlier but I just got back from VA on Monday and didn't have net access while I was there.

Saturday will be interesting for me. I'm down to one car and my wife needs it half the day. I also have a project I need to finish up so we can try shipping our game in the next couple of weeks.
Late afternoon may work best but I'll try to make it no matter what time of day we do eet.

I did get a few thmbs done, but mostly gathered the ref. material.

Seeing as the Rock Run is tomorrow I'm kind of scared to drive into down town. It's going to be a freaking zoo.

Sunday may work better but it would have to be mid afternoon around 3 and then I'd be available for a couple of hours....either that or we go for next Sunday.

    Jim Hensons Exhibit

First Thursday of every month between 5 and 8 Seattle Center and Sci Fi Museum open up for free to the Washington public.

Anyone want to meet tomorrow to go see his exhibit? Should be inspirational.

That'd sounds awesome! Unfortunately I'm more or less stuck in Lynnwood until my wife gets home from work around 6:30 then it's dinner time. Week days stink for me. Have fun Drew!

Not sure if we are going to make an attempt at a meeting tomorrow. I'm not sure when I would be available. I have a project that I'm trying to finish up for my company so if anything I wouldn't be available until the early evening...maybe around 6. That may change however if I don't finish up the project by the afternoon.

Either way Mike i'll give you a call to see what's up and all...if you are free.

I was wondering about timing too - I'm don't think I can manage any time before 4PM although anything after that is probably fine.
