Some scribbles and a wip of a cast, did some other stuff too but they aren't really worth posting.

Also started readig Color and Light by James Gurney, good stuff.

Few studies, just focusing on skin colour, and a fairly quick drapery study.

I usually try to work straight into colour when painting something. I see some people first slamming in the values and then just add colour with overlays and whatnot but I never seem to get it do what I want, and this seems to be happening again.

Just some scribble. Will have to see if I'm actually gonna go somewhere with this, I just can't get the colours in right.

Feels good to do still-lifes after a while, these are so much fun. I worked on it during the day and the lighting conditions have changed outside so that I can't really work on it anymore. I'll see if I can continue on it tomorrow but atleast thats it for now.

Been having some slow days, some stuff goign on irl and couldn't find the enthusiasm to draw, heres some scribble done while watching TV and whatnot. I feel like I'm just scribbling without understanding anatomy, meh

Some really nice stuff here! Great sense of colour and I can see the studies are paying off. That being said, I can't help but feel that your current understanding of anatomy is holding you back, especially in the nude studies where the errors in the figure are counteracting that wonderful rendering.

Hope that doesn't come across too harsh, just I would love to see your work with a bit more understanding of the anatomy that you are clearly capable of as evident from your skill in rendering those studies.

MacTire: no worries! Thanks for the input! I have no clear understanding of anatomy, thats for sure. I've been slowly picking up the studies but I haven't got very far yet. More of an enivorment guy so I've been slacking x.x;
