No response.
In situations like this there are usually a few responses. The question is which it will be. An immediate removal from their site and a personal apology would be smart, but is rare. If they don't respond they will get another letter with a deadline to remove the content and make a public statement on their site from legal here. As they are clearly business savvy and unscrupulous, they will probably take a day or two just to figure out what to do about the serious problem. People's entire careers can go in the toilet for this kind of garbage. His own as an artist will never be legitimate and he cut himself off from the entertainment biz here who sees this.
For any who consider doing such things...If it were just a concept...which happens for internal use only stuff from time to time in this business...then it should never be shown and whatever gets made must NOT be substantially similar in any way.
All in all this is a bad move but that Picard image made dealing with it worth it.
Thanks for the laugh.
