I was just wondering if you could answer me something (and anyone else who might know why a lot of professional CA's do it)
I noticed in the Moon base enviro you created, you used some photographs before painting over them, I see artists like Maciej Kuciara and Mateja Petkovic do it sometimes.
I was wondering why they do it before they begin to paint over it?
Does it help with moods and colour compositions for actual ideas?

@BenjaminJL92 That just help me to fill the canvas. Sometime I hate to begin with a blank canvas, so I threw everything I have into it, making a mess of textures, colors and shapes. And then, while I scribbled across the canvas, ideas come out quite easy. That's all, I hope it would be helpful for you
