@ja1307: Thanks, I do try to work hard.
@Spellsword95: Of course not, I am a taxidermed squirrel; can't you tell from my avatar?
193-194. I forgot to upload these when I got home from my plein air fellowship at the White Mountains of New Hampshire. These are detailed plein air drawings, not necessary meant as a piece of art work but more of a reference for future drawings or paintings. I have uploaded some of these before, but I still have some more pieces I haven't uploaded yet.

@Greenhous: Thanks!
@Aragah: The key to smoothness is consistency. For charcoal sketches, the light areas are most consistent of charcoal on the first stroke. Any more strokes on the same areas or the erasing and then stroking again with your charcoal on these areas will make the charcoals accumulate unevenly. Another way to get a consistency of charcoal is to blend.
@iven: Yea, school is still tough, and its going to get tougher as I being taking higher level calculus and physics.
@Vinicam: I wish I could post more of the works lying around, but I don't have a camera anymore. The last one I had belonged to my sister, which is "off limits". I will buy another one, and as soon as I get one, I will upload more recent paintings and drawings.
So sorry guys, it will be some time before any more updates since I don't have a camera anymore.

199-205. Some more alla prima portrait, some charcoal gestures as well as a more rendered one. These are taken with a camera worst than the one I use to upload pictures before. For the alla prima portrait, the upper lip is gray because the woman had an incipient mustache.
The last one is one of my watercolor plein air sketches. It's of a tree, now dead. A victim of the forces of nature, hurricane sandy. It's beautiful autumn colors is no more. A moment of silence for the dead tree... May you rest in peace my woody friend, your beautiful autumn colors will be missed.

nice way of using the charcoal, i like this techniquekeep up man!
I plan on purchasing a canon t4i, its picture quality, I feel, is a definite improvement over the t3i.
206-207. The values and chroma are inaccurate even more so due to crappy camera.
The first one is a plein air watercolor study of a dead tree.
The second one is another charcoal drawing with finger smudging.
The last one is my first nude figure painting started with alla prima and painted on cheap cotton, so to me it looks like crap. I am already working on another nude figure painting, this time on linen. I can say, it's already looking better.

Hi, man. I noticed you're trying to use paintings to illustrate geometry... You're so rigorous! I'm looking forward to seeing more fancy experiments on your arts.
