Colour in Progress Beginner Sketchbook

Some words:

Hi, brand new to posting on CA, but not entirely new to the site at all . Art-skill wise, I'm definitely still stuck at level 1. But anyway, I thought I'd get a start on a sketchbook on here so I can keep tabs on how I've been doing so far and to get some personal feedback from the great community on here.

My long story short, I've realized that I have no foundations in drawing whatsoever, so now I'm looking to improve myself in the basics, with just a pencil and paper. I'm very very eager to learn and would genuinely appreciate any feedback/criticisms or even a recommended book to look at

I look forward to posting regularly on this site and constantly updating my sketchbook

Great to see that you're doing the same study several times, it really helps to memorize the object. Portraits are look good too. Just pay more attention to the front view of a man with a goatee - proportions a bit off. But your're doing great, be sure and keep on going! Hard work pays off!

It's been a while since my last post, but I have been keeping at my drawing and setting my eyes on improving. I even found a life drawing studio with a model with drawing sessions everyday of the week that I've been attending. So after reading a few months and reading books like Force by Mike Matessi and going halfway through Vilppu's drawing manual, here are the drawings that I'm producing now (just as a note, these drawings are from this and last week). And as always, thanks for looking feedback is always appreciated
