Went back to the 'End of line' concept thought the previous sky was a little plain, crits and feedback welcome as always!
Long time no post! Been trying out a different workflow for my environments (inspired by a few Art Centre blogs, check out Annis Naeems') by designing out the entire scene before I even touch the computer, I've found designing key features for the mood and scene (using thumbnails and jotting down notes gave me a resolved mental image which I knew would work or not when it came to the final image, I may still tweek it a bit for my folio ha!

Shark D-10 also known as 'Shark Face' is a Mobile suit recently acquired by a secret mercenary group, taking inspiration from Killer sharks, it aims to strike a natural fear into those who see it from a distance!

Mechs and robots are one of my favourite things to design, so more of these to come in the future!
I Went back to a concept which I thought needed a quick design pass , since at the time I was mainly focusing on rendering technique (original is at the bottom of blog), I also added a rail gun to make things more interesting!

Working on my speed for concept generation! Took about 20 - 30 mins for the thumbnail page then worked up a couple to a higher finish!
Nice designwork so far, but I suggest that you lay off of the dodge and burn because that's making your finished work seem flat.
