Today I worked on mixing up animals, so here is a Ginger haired, golden shelled, bird turtle...
Also I was bored and did a stylized Damian Wayne, not technically drawing since I just copied it from eye, but i wanted to upload it sine i worked out all the shading myself and I like it, copyrights to DC and so on haha

Spent about 6 hours over the past two days drawing a Hydralisk from Starcraft 2! I really enjoyed it and i'm pleased with the final outcome, feel like I'm cheating with this whole black line shading though

First attempt at realism in photoshop, I'm quite happy with the result! dunno how to add details from here though, anyone?

nice work and dedication!! i really like the ilusrtation on post #61. Look at how asphere works before tackling the apple, observe how light works on the sphere and try to translate it into the apple.

Cleaned up some of the areas, added a little detail to the head, smoothed out the stomach, lightened some places and trying to avoid shading with black, as advised by someone on another website, struggling to add much detail to areas past here though, could use some tips/crits?
I'll answer in the morning, done my 6 hours for today and it's time for bed!

Haven't been posting on here for a while, guess keeping up a sketchbook was too much effort haha, I've been keeping to my artwork either way, yesterday I decided to buy some paints and brushes and here is my first attempt at acrylic painting!

stuck on this..dunno how to progress, or should i just leave it from here

Great studies you have going here! For that hand I'd recommend a little more red in the finger tips. Blood shows through on places like fingertips so they're just slightly more red usually. Also, maybe a little more contrast, darker darks and a couple highlighted spots to show the form. Great colors though. You definitely have a good eye for color being a traditional painter.
Just a sketch of a plant in the front room

Nice progress, I can see you like painting so this crit is focused on that area: it might be good to include a background in more of your work (keeping it simple and not busy) and then try to integrate it into the main object you're painting. Watch for how the tone shapes integrate in whatever you're painting and their edges. Other than that just keep working on proportion, colour etc.
Few pages from my book, random sketches of stuff in class, on the bus, and then a locust in watercolour+ink

You seem to be making good progress here. In your paintings, you can get more pleasing results by refining your edges more. A strong solid edge instead of a blurred edge with uncertain brushstrokes will give you a more finished look.
