Hi CA !

I'm Rano and i'm really interesting by entertainement design. I start that sketchbook for two reason

First, i just want some crits about my work. Espcially from this communitiy. There is lot of traffic here and i think this is a very good way for me to get some feedbacks about my work. So if you have anything to say about my design and stuffs, don't be gente, just say

Second, i know that lot of high level artist are here so, i just wanna know if you guys have any technics, any advices, anything helpfull to improve my works

I'm just a little guy that want to share things so, let's share lol

All right, so here's my work, lot of randoms designs. Inspired a lot by the entertainement industry. Got a lot of inspiration from Feng Zhu, Andy Park, Sam Liu, Ryan Church, Dylan Cole and many others.

I start by postin' some character design first I'll keep postin' differents design so stay tune

Here's some new sketches from a personal project

To really sum up, it's a fantasy project that i stop working on seven years ago lol i dug into my old sketchbook and notepad to have a fresh new sight of what it is
I've found out it will be a very good things to start redesign and keep exploring this lost project to see what i can do now

I can't give you any critique as I am too much of a newbie with pictures, But I can say, and will say that your pictures are awesome!! Keep it up!

Thanks for the kind word on my SB, I saw you're French as well isn't it?

Anyway, I'm not in a good position to give you crits but well the only thing i saw is that some of your creatures lack a bit of volume, i'm not talking about the gorgeous panthers they're perfect, it's the ones on which you added some texture, the golems, too much texture (thus too many details) everywhere disturbs the focal point. Texture must be used carefully, if not it can remove some important values on your painting (or so i think)
In fact i preferd the silouhette designs of the golems, they showed more censistence in my opinion.

As for the rest of your work it's very very good , i was very honored to receive a crit from a pro like you.

I like the approach on the Golems, and the environments are pretty sweet!

@Feil Magnus thanks for your crits, i'm really considering that kind of opinion I don't think there any kind of "good position" to give crits. You just have to tell what you feel and think that's all. I'm very happy that what you've did

The Colossus were made for the Deviantart RIFT Colossus Contest ! I didn't pass the semi finalist round but it was a lot of fun ! :p

Here's some updates !

As a student, i've worked for a video game project called Little Geek Adventure.
A humoristic 3D Sidescroll game based upon different video game's and movie's universe. Lot of fun on this one !

You have some nice line work, good job.

I think it would be a good idea to take a step back from the stylised faces you are currently doing and drawing a tad more from life, they do look rather similar. You have potential, wouldn't like to see you getting stuck in a somewhat generic style.

@Black_Tea & @ANtY93 thanks for the support mate ! It's been a while since i've uploaded some stuff here... But I realize that i have to do more that i used to do lol.
Those design are actually some stuffs that i do for myself Just to have fun and see what i can do with some random themes. But i have to be more involved into the Concept art Week design ! I was pretty lazy but... I MUST do IT lol !
