    Hey there.

Very interesting sketchbook! Many different styles, and works.
    Love your body paintings
Quantum3 Intergalactic Band (very cool concept!) in gray scale is like step in right direction with values in my opinion.

great work bbwolf! i see the studies are coming along nicely as well as having them double as value studies as you mentioned previously push the envelope with some color studies as well-- i already see progress with the late colored images, but they can become something even more ^-^ keep at it dude! oh and the parkour studies seem like a good way to learn even more dynamic poses (i'll keep those in mind hehe )

    thanks teapo

I agree that the parkour studies are a good way to accustome oneself with more dynamic poses. The following female studies are pictures from the Women athletics contests at the Arnold classics for the same purpose. They are a bit hard to find, a lot of the old galleries seem to have been taken off the net. But I enjoy those more since they show the insanely ripped ppl in motion. Much better than the usual fitness and bodybuilding poses.

I will do some color studies too soon. I need to improve. I need more work.

    CHOW progress.
I think I want him dressing as sharp and smart as he can and taking care of
his body. He might be ugly, but that does not mean he canīt take his own
bodycare to the hightest level possible. Talk about metrosexual. This almost
compulsive behaviour is probably brought on by his "job". I think I want him
dressed in a gleaming, rubber pinstripe suit with protective, medical, gloves.

Hey man, lots of hard work in here and obviously it has paid off.

Your Alchemy experiments look cool, you seem to be fluent with this kind of tool, it will get better and better. Try using <100% opacity to have mid tones get in the game too- you will be surprised by the vector-like qualities a medium opacity pull shapes module can give.

If I am allowed a general comment on your drawing, I would suggest to try and work on your mid range. Your drawings seem to use full black and full white tones and lose focus on the mid-range. Try building your tones bit by bit and keep 100% white for the end (or black if you are working the other way around). That could possibly help you describe shapes a little better. I hope the above made some kind of sense.

keep pushing forward, you are doing a great job.

wow, thanks for dropping in and commenting albino-Z. I am very glad you think my little exercises actually payed off.

I am not sure however if I understand correctly what you mean using a 100%..... waitaminute....
you mean: < aka less than 100% opacity?

Yes, I already try that with the pull shapes. I will post stuff later. I am trying to work on my value skills and only put the strongest values last.
But I just LOVE high contrasts and thatīs were I am strongest so I couldnīt avoid playing to my strengths. But I will post more and especially
somehting that got inspired by you. I donīt want to rip you off or anything but I want to take some cues from your style if you donīt mind.

I was trying to work more with the values but I kinda got carried away. Maybe too much filter wizardry but I did at the end
of an allnighter and seriously intoxicated with Captain Morganīs finest. So I am happy with it.

One thing on the environment is that the water is the same tone from front to back. Soften it at the back like you have with rest and it'll improve a lot.

its kinda crazy to see these things come into being on my screen. I am so used to bombing out with industrial design. I guess sometimes one just needs to find the best way/technique that suits one best

    What do you think guys?

I really like your bugs bro, #369 and the gesture drawings look not really like gesture drawings,
I like them thou it's a lot of movement in them, but gestures are when you type in at least 10 sec,
in this website http://www.lovecastle.org/draw/ and draw the hole dude down @ your paper.

THATS a gesture, as far as I learned !
