Nice update Wolf, in truth the last one don't convince me! But this page is very good http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1165876689
In particular I love the chamber with the alien, a good inspiration for me!

    Hey Dreamworker

Yeah, as I wrote, it didn´t convince me too. But it is a kinda progress. here´s another one, this time from ref. I am curious to see what you´ll be inspired too by the alien inna tank.

Oi, theGnoll. Thanks for stopping by again. Yeah I´ll try to post more in this rythem. Can you tell I have more free time on my hands atm?
Next week my vacation starts. Whoop-deedoo.

Oh, and this is a PS doodle w/out ref. Bleahrg. I need sum ref for stuff like that I reckon.
Maybe I´ll work him some more. Dunno. I suck with lights and shadows.

the girl turned out realy good, i like especially the lower part of her body, the shadow on her legs looks nice!
but from breasts upwards it isn't that good, her face is a bit ugly... if you use so black pencils or whatever dont do so much scribbling in her face, be careful with these lines.

    so long

    keep it up

Hya Haxxxor, welcome 2my SB. Thanks for the comment, but come on! She´s not ugly. If I shade the whole body this way I have to keep it up in the face too. Not to compromise my style. And after all. it´s "just" a sketch.

And one more update for tonight.

The woman is influenced by Pamela Landey, CIA Supervisor. Tried to give her a Mangaesk look.
The other are just Wolf doodles, hehehe.

And then some faces with cast ahadow tryouts.

    See ya guys tomorrow.

    Heya NicoRaven

Welcome to my Sketchbook. Glad you like the comic style.
But which pics didn´t load??? And what does that´s dial for me mean???

So here´s a bump. Greeting card I did a few months back. A Party invitation.
In Germany there´s a saying meaning having one huge party or having as much fun as possible. "die Sau raus lassen" translating somewhat like this:
"setting the hog free". And the saying on the sausage jar goes like
it´s high time to set the hog free. Get it? huh? Get it??

    loads of good stuff !

the mafia man/girl on the previous page are cool, i agree with you tho - the first one's definitely better, they just sit together a bit tighter i think.

i thought the girl sketch was pretty good for no ref, you've got a good feel for the figure there, mebbe more ref/life studies tho will make 'em feel a bit more believable.

good to see you putting stuff out at this rate tho - keep it up !

    Heya Mr Digs

Good to see ya again. But uh, if you´re refering to the dancing Girl on page 3, that one is from ref. The Gangster Girly is without ref.

I have to tell ya folks, that some of this stuff is allways about a few weeks old. The stuff from work needs to lay on the shelf for a little while. When I am absolutly sure the stuff is not "eyes only" anymore, I post em here. Makes
a little delay. Still I draw every day. And I post very often. Just with some time between drawing and posting.

Anyway, here are sum Theatrical Poster Sketches:

the theatrical poster sketches are cool - you have plenty of original ideas.

the girl from post #139 is my favourite from the manga studies - be cool to see you colour this, i'd still love to see you put some of your ideas together into one finished piece.

    @MrDigs
Yeah, I´d like to see me doing a more finished fantasy comic/piece myself.
Maybe in the middle of my vacation.

Life drawing course in good old Heilbronx is out of question I am afraid. Since my illustrating job near Karlsruhe I moved into the "Fächerstadt" and visit the old hunting grounds only VERy rarly.

Okay folks, here some sketches for when I tried to come up with a poster/flyer thing for a regularily
happening Poetry Slam. But 2 me it looked 2 much like Hip Hop. What do you think?

yeah i know - there's never enough time eh !

the first sketch didn't look too hip-hop to me, but a few of the second set did - especially the guy at the bottom and the one with his hand out flat, it's wierd cos i scrolled up the post from the bottom and thought it was a hip-hop character before i read your post ! mebbe you could throw in some older imagery, like someone holding a skull, yorick style or something ?! good sketches tho, especially the girl.

i'm diggin the daily updates !

Okay folks, here´s a quick anatomy study from yesterday (Hogarth) and as a bumb, because it
correspond so well with the study, a pic I did for a friend´s birthday a little while back. I included

hey man thank you for your reply in my sp... one thing, that demon wasn't a selfportriat

in your sb i see a good development of anatomy and i like your comic style.
that caricature of your friend turned out very funny, i dig it very much.

tha last one needs still some improvement on values and how the colors fit to each other... maybe you do a grayscale picture first.

    keep at it.
