A Character sketch from my sketchbook.
About half way through the build of the futuristic plague doctor mask I painted a while back. Got the major shapes in. All I need to do now is detail and paint![]()
damn love those dirty sketchbook pages. keep it up!
Destined for greatness haha! Your work's awesome! Care to share some practices they make you do at school?you're at art center right?
Yor: Thanks. Love your paintings man. I need to break out the acrylics more often
Nerferinn: Thanks a lot. You've got some really awesome figurative work in your sketchbook btw. As for studies they make us do at art center.. its mostly been hard surface stuff like vehicles and props. But a good exercise so far is drawing out a concept in a top and side view and then constructing it out on top of a perspective grid. Pretty much showed me how much I was BSing most of my perspective before.
Here is a little more animationy stuff for that "Big Fish" character. He's supposed to transform into a dog in the script so I drew a little sequence for that.
this is awesome, I love the movement you put in the last one and the mix of cartoony stuff and gritty conceptual pieces, subscribed to this thread

Some how got stuck in an intro to photoshop class this term. We had to make a movie poster so I decided to do a vehicle since I suck so bad at it.

Finished some environments for that big fish project. The scenes are set in a circus involving the Amos and Edward characters I developed earlier.
Finally done with my school year and finally I can get back to doing some personal stuff. So i gave myself a project to work on over the summer involving folktales and this is something I just came up with. Enjoy.
