decided to post some of my unfinished fails from 2011

and you can lump the previous sketch up top in with them as i already got some new ideas for it hah.

these are things that just didn't work out the way i wanted it to...
i figure i ought to share them somewhere at least.

The rendering on the two gunslingers is really tight.
In the left girl of post #95 and #99, it looks like the perspective is a bit off. I think that if the feet were turned that much, her chest wouldn't face forward as much, or else there would be more twisting around her waist.
The sense of action in the figure sketches is impressive. Are they referenced?
Great atmosphere in the dune piece and the forest.

attached an update wip, slowly learning the value of masking stuff off a little too late but still feels bleh i like the crisp edges but really hate lassoing everything

love the way you hatch some areas

also i'm getting frustrated by lasso technique and looking for a new way to paint i mean faster one
hatching is nice idea

@takashmen thanks dunno if hatching stuff is a workaround for the lasso tool but i guess its a way to paint opaquely, it can be quick.

away from home for xmas using a beatup graphire going to try and do the stalker CHOW along with the dagger's bloodsport challenge

trying not to make post-apocalyptic gasmask man 4935834005 but unavoidable.
