Hey folks,
I must admit that I visited conceptart pretty rarely,
but I hope you people follow me on my journey of becoming a better artist
and maybe even a better person ;-)
I will update this sketchbook with new studies and WIPs as often as possible

It´s a WIP based on my studies. I want this piece to be as realistic as possible.
Still I don´t want to mess it up with a shitty background. Can you help me to find a good one?

Nice studies, I like your colors and hand studies. A little remark - hands look too short on the first pic, and try to make things and parts of the body that are closer to us more contrast, and vice versa - far objects will be less saturated and less defined. What about background for last picture - try to use simple gray till you decide what you want to see there. Hope it helps a little

hey guys I prepared a grid to simplify my work with vanishing points
It´s a Illustrator file you can use it in Photoshop and put one on the screen for every vanishing point^^

I am totally frustrated. The more I work on that the more I feel like moving backwards
It´s like this all the time, only because I don´t know what to do next. My aim was a realistic piece but all I can do is semi-realism

Revision of the essential basics is crucial
So here I go with some revision of the head. About the half is from imagination^^
PS: A little game. The first one who can guess wich of the eyes is mine wins a free portrait of himself ^^

Hey, some more study stuff. Hard to stay motivated and concentrating on practicing not only trying to create art out of nothing. Sometimes I feel like I´m acting as if I´m already an artist, and people hate me for that, so I try not to bother anybody with my progress...well, I´m actually loading up stuff so it´s not totaly private.









And thats a 3D Head I´ve created with Mudbox, so I can draw it from different angles.

Yay finished page --- (I don´t know) of my Manga "SPLIT"
It´s not finished yet, background and details are still missing.
It looks better on real paper...my scanner sucks, anyway
the guy on the top is Shiro -----
He is about to learn some lessons and kick some ass.
I don´t know if I should upload a chapter a once or each page separately...we´ll see.

It´s funny that I visit my sketchbook all the time, even if I´m sure there are no comments....hoping somebody finds it accidently XD

Interesting to see my own progress. especially the radical change in the last 2 pictures
At first I didn´t like the theme, but after a while I got into it and it was fun. In the end I decided to renew the cocept and voila, there it is^^
