Ok! First update!

I FINALLY have my photoshop and tablet working at the same time for the first time in 6 months. Now I just need to fix or replace my scanner.

10 min over an old sketch. (I can't wait for the morning!)

Haven't settled on a pattern yet. She is half submerged in water and the hair is floating.

It looks pretty interesting so far. I'm curious to see it finished. If she is submerged in water, wouldn't her hair have a little bit more movement? Right now it looks a little stiff.

Thanks Istmin. Yeah, I'm just trying to get the pattern worked out right now. I'm hoping I can make it look more natural as I go.


I've been working on this painting for a week or so but I don't have much spare time. It's about poster sized (23 x 30 about) and the sketch is on a little moleskin.

Thanks Black spot. Yeah, I'm still a little in school mode. Creepy things just went over well and I could still make them pretty. Anyway, I'm starting to feel like doing my old style more, so here's a sexy barbarian.

Another update because I'm going away this weekend and might not be able to post till Sunday night. I'm leaning away from 3 and 4 and toward 1 and 5, but I haven't quite decided yet.

2 or 3 are my favorites. You have some lovely work in here, but i feel that the girl's head in post 18 might be a tad wonky. The one in the blue shirt. Something feels off about the proportions.

Had a great weekend but didn't get a lot of drawing down. I actually no longer like # 3. I think I'm going to go with 1.

Mose: Yeah, her eyes are too far apart and her jawline is crooked.

People have already said this, but you have a gorgeous style. I love how your characters are- kindof unsettling and otherworldly, but still so beautiful. Your skintones in colour pencil are lovely too.
