Guy paints on microchips using 'brushes' made from his eyelashes

    My Sketchbook

And then God said, "Let us make man in our likeness and our image. Let us make him ridiculously hard to draw so that poor artists everywhere will have to spend 10,000+ hours failing repeatedly before they can begin to capture the form and likeness onto a two-dimensional surface." And there was man. And it was good. And artists everywhere lost their minds.

they seem too similar and not as impressive as the news of one artist who made micro sculptures and selling the series for millions.

Meeeh. I'm not one of those people that gets excited when someone creates a new medium in an attempt at going with the flow of contemporary art.

The paintings aren't much more then sketches afterall.

Maybe if an opposite approach was used and somebody painted on an extremely large surface, that would be a bit more compelling.

    But thats just me..

What is it with people either doing something that should be large very small, or something that should be small very big? I'd like to see someone who painted a normal size painting. But, like, really good.

I remember there was one guy who made little carvings and painted them using the hair from a fly. I think he inhaled one of his pieces by accident.

It was posted up on here at some point.
