For art? Tumblr is definitely the most focused in that direction. And the uploader is a damn breeze.

i use blogspot, but if i weren't so lazy i would make my own self-hosted blog with wordpress, since then you don't have to rely on others services. it's a little more work, though.
blogspot got great new designs and design-mod tools recently
I personally use wordpress.com for my portfolio, and I hate some parts of it, but it does its job fine and is a rather powerful tool
there's a more customizable wordpress.org option as well that you have to install at your own hosting.
tumblr is fancy and seems really nice though, but I ended up with wp.

Tumblr is amazing if it is not over capacity (which happens often).

Custom-installed WordPress on my own domain is looking best for me so far because I can make it do what I want. (Bit of a learning curve and some episodes of tearing my hair out, but I'm getting the hang of it, I think.)
Trying to edit HTML in Blogger is a pain in the bejeezus (and clunky and sloooow), and I hate the fact that images have to be hosted via Picasa, which screws up images over a certain size (and the only known workaround doesn't work with Picasa for Mac. GRRRR.)
Haven't tried Tumblr.
I use tumblr. I have also tried blogger, but I find tumblr to be better. I also prefer it's interface, it's prettier. Yes I'm shallow like that.
Currently using blogger and tumblr (you should allow the poll to select multiple platforms when voting). Started with blogger, which I still think is great as there is a huge community of great artists that use it, but I recently started using tumblr as well, which provides huge possibilities of exposure if some of your stuff gets going. I've gotten so many more followers on tumblr than I have on blogger in way less time. No problem with using more than one or all of them, just takes a little more upkeep.
