    Angel's contemplation

This is mostly intended to be an opening for a personal website. Kinda having difficulty with trying to include feather animation into flash tho.

    Any suggestions are welcome

I like the ramshackle look. But I might try to tighten the color scheme a bit. Right now my eye jumps around a lot and can't find a focus. Everything contrasts and clashes with each other.

I don't anything about Flash, so I can't help you there.

i would really work on the color scheme...the heavy primaries aren't workin' for me. with flash...i would seperate the wings into two to four main pieces that move and just use a couple individual feathers that fly loose from them...making the wings up of individual feathers will take forever and probably kill you when it comes time to animate...keep it simple. also...are you using vectors? cause vector graphics are really the best way to go with flash, they will also help keep the file sizes smaller...build your character and environment in adobe illustrator or freehand first...then import them into flash...looks good, can't wait to see the final result.

I had originally done the sketch in pencil, inked over it, scanned in it, then cleaned it up with photoshop, converted it with streamline.. (whew) and then went into fireworks and started colouring it. I'm pretty new to illustrator so i don't feel too comfortable with it yet. i should bust it out and give it a shot though.
