Nice stuff going on here, Aragah. That self portrait looks cool, I'd like to see it finished - as well as the teen challenge creature, cool design!

Love your studies. The digital one's are improving real fast. Actually everything is improving here, went through all pages and I'm sure about that
You're having a good balance between the amount of doodles and studies. I like that. I'm jealous about that
Keep on rocking, don't be lazy.

The pencil self-portrait is coming out amazingly.
The helicopter texture is fine, but on the grass watchout for the obvious patterns, the right side seems overlooped and it draws way too much attention to that side.

waaaaa im a big pile of pooooop!!!
had a complete meltdown today, i think i recovered, sort of.
idk, my imagination stuff isnt giving me hopes lately.
i got to get back on track tomorrow! f me.
idk, im just not very excited to do personal stuff. i dont mind studies

so, crapy crapy update, i feel they are getting worst, but i cant stop updating!

f me, i mean, look at this, after all this i still draw super distorted and dont realize it, its ridiculous

    sp. its too confusing right?
oh and anther thing, i made such a huge confusion between what was saturated what wasnt. i think i put too much saturation at the begining, then everything else i added just looked pure gray. any opinions on that?

Heya, Been a while since I last popped in.

Glad to see you still at it...self-flagellation aside. Although I do understand...we can all be our own toughest critics.

To help silence those accusing voices in yer head (perhaps?): I'm digging your sp in #215 above. Very nice/delicate pencil work and touch. Would like to see it finished.

I love the mask concept here.

Lovin yer pencils/sketchbook pages in #108....this one is a good example...and here.

    Keep werkin and postin!

ven- - whooooo thanks a lot man!

Jephyr X - thanks a tons man! ill definetly keep working and posting

    lololol
i think i got happy again with drawing,
    more energy!

i have a huuge problem, i cant freaking draw somebody standing, just a plaing simple standing pose i cant, little to no perspective, natural standing pose, i just cant freaking do it, its driving me craaazy!
i mean, if the pose is like jumping roling or anything, or even with crazy perspectives, its easier to me than a standing pose.
    haaaa im mad!

so i felt like i was really productive today, but it doesnt seems that much now,

idk, i wont complain about it

    "finished"this one

idk what going on, picture quality is horible, and the page is too large to scan, so ill just leave those small and more of a "statement" that i did my studies since you cant actually see(or judge them by that matter)
**note: i think my problem on standing poses(mentioned before) is deppely rooted in the fact that i canot draw a single decent pair of legs! and it went completly unnoticed by me so far. this is ridiculous.

so, superhugemassive fail at this sp.
one day i shall conquer the art of decent portraits!

    doodles

my very first "metal" study, i was so lost,
any opinions on how i did? i mean, i tried a lot of brushes and a lot of diferent directions and ways to use them. they all looked diferent from eachother, but none looked quite like the reference

wasabi89 - hey man! thanks! i want to see you guys work hard!!!

Ainuwolf - hahah valeu , eu tambem realmente espero que eu esteja aprendendo com eles, senao....

soo, trying out a few diferent ways, the sb pages are scaned, the sp and the hands are photos from my ipod and the legs studies are from my camera,
scanning takes too long, and ipod pics are to sucky, i think ill stick with the camera

    bad doodle, "the moon tower"

tried to do some studies, failled HARD, i think i was tring to do texture or something, but i got the colors so wrong i kinda gave up, i think i have to learn other stuff before jumping in so much detail and texture

sooo, i conluded, i must study colors!

im trying to improve my creativity and imagination, any ideas on how to do that?

    critique on this one please
    -is the idea too obvious/cheesy?
    -is it too dark?

-edit- i think it need cast shadows on her face right? more light on her nose, and than highlights

You are quite hardworking here, I feel ashamed being so stuck again...
I like your digital doodles/sketches the most, quick nice artistic strokes without overusing texture, yep, that's the way I guess.
I'm all uncertain here and I can't say anything about colors, it's a sunny day and my monitor is very close to a window, there is sunshine everywhere, I barely see anything from your last face painting, for example. Hopefully I will say something more useful next time.

E por favor: PARE DE SE MENOSPREZAR SENÃO EU VOU AÍ NA TUA CASA E ESPANCO ESSE PESSIMISMO PRA FORA DO TEU CORPO.

obs.: Gaste mais tempo com os color studies e tenta dar uma ajeitada no brightness da pintura.

obs2.: Eu falo sério quanto a ir na tua casa e te bater até você ficar feliz.

shiNIN - haha thanks man, ill be waiting for you to come by again
