Really? Non stop art? You never get dragged bowling by your friends or really want to go on a fishing trip or something? Man, I think about art a lot, but I do get bored of doing the same thing for too long. I spent the last week really pushing myself to improve and trying new things, and it's exhausting. I get chucked out of the studio at midnight, and am back there again before 9am but some days I dont really want to be. I enjoy it while I'm working on something, and I know it will help me improve, but I would rather be elsewhere for a while, I wish I had your drive. I wonder if I can change that, perhaps it's just frustration?

Yeah, me too. Gonna finish the Mages Guild quest tonight, it's my first full evening off in over a month. Though now I am shocked at the faces, rather than impressed and bemused like the first time I played. Still love the grass and flowers though.

Quite a few people like cooking! I only know one other person that actually enjoys that in real life, weird. See, I knew you guys were interested in other things besides drawing all day, you don't spend you whole lives cooped up indoors with naught but an easel. Though now I want to go learn some of the things listed rather than go back to drawing at the studio, oops.

Drawing and painting do take up most of my time. I'm currently trying to finish up school. But during my free time, I lift weights and play my guitar. I used to take martial arts but it ended up being too expensive and time-consuming.

I'm probably almost as passionate about video games as I am about art - which totally sucks because I can end up spending alot of time on one and falling behind on the other... their just isn't enough time in the day!
I'm also really into my US Dramas like Fringe, Breaking Bad, Desperate Housewives, LOST etc (One day I'll live in America and not need to go out of my way to find good TV! )

Having interests like this make you a bit of a house goblin

recently all kinds of booze heavy parties and meets at homes and pubs/restaurants etc. have become rather frequent and hangovers definitely waste time, trying to relearn how to say no to vodka. Play a bit of video games and watch movies/series (episodically), read some books, waste time online, try to spend quality time with family and boyfriend, bingesew whenever I decide I have nothing cool to wear, bake cakes and muffins, when season permits spend as much time outside as possible.

Guitar, Piano, Longboarding, Photography, and watch movies. I'm also designing a nerdy table top game at the moment. ...trying to anyway.

@Jie Kageshinzo Thank you for your service. We all look up to you.

And then God said, "Let us make man in our likeness and our image. Let us make him ridiculously hard to draw so that poor artists everywhere will have to spend 10,000+ hours failing repeatedly before they can begin to capture the form and likeness onto a two-dimensional surface." And there was man. And it was good. And artists everywhere lost their minds.

Videogames are a thing to be carefull with. They suck up your time, make you un-social,etc.
I try to stay away from them.

I go to John Molson School of Business, about the finish a degree in marketing. I do all things students do I guess. Travel, party, concerts, socialising, museums, shows, etc

People always say this and I never quite get it.
Playing video games gets me talking and co-operating with people of all ages and nationalities on a regular basis. Just because people aren't face to face, doesn't mean they aren't socialising, otherwise you could say phone calls are anti-social

The phone comment is a strong point.
I originally warned against video games as stemming from my own experience. As a teenager I was really into them, which resulted or cultivated my awkwardness in social situations. I did not meet new people and was afraid of a room full of them. Girls were out of the question, I was far too gone to talk to them effectively.

When I decided at the end of highschool to work on myself, I focused on bettering my social skills. It became apparent to me that it can't be done over the computer so I dropped video games.

After this all my "socializing" dreams came true and I know now that I will never, ever be stuck in an awkward and lonely situation. Such assurance feels great, and as I hang out with people I learn and develop a lot more then by playing games.

It is important to remember though that people are different and some people have more addictive personalities then others. Mine was such that gaming had a detrimental effect. In someone elses case it has a positive one. I was just speaking in my personal terms.
I still play some cod and recently battlefield bad company 2 though.

    But that's just my experience.

You could say videogames are a social experience but is under a narrow context, its still not a total substitute for all social interaction

As is see it, its like being able to solve a physics problem but only if it is under a frame where particular conditions apply and you can repeat a formula.
If one spends too much time within that framework the moment your out of it, you might feel a bit lost.

I Love videogames as anyone here might, i too went into matrix mode on occasions, just saying, good things still need to be put into balance.

Very true. I spent the last two or three years without touching a video game. I broke my back two months ago, and since I couldnt do much of anything, I spent hours and hours playing every day. It can quickly become an obsession, specially with games today, there's so much to do and so many things to find.

    Photoshop is my video game.

Nah I am just not a gamer xD
What I usually do if I am not drawing is browse the internet, read or think about doing my homework but not do it.

I like too many things that i have time for...

Lifting weights/fitness, art, and school are my three main things. I also love music but am simply lacking the time to write anything as of late.
