Right! My first sketchbook! Here goes!
Wow, busy week! Here're a few sketches!
welcome david lital,
original digital paintings, love your imagination.
Those sketches aren't bad eather so keep on the good work
It's been a while since I've been back on here, but I mean to make use of this sketchbook thread again. I've spent a while studying a more naturalistic form, as well as learning to render with more success in both vector and raster formats. I'll be posting both traditional and digital work in here again, as I attempt to make heads or tails of various experiments in the near future.
For the moment, have a swordswoman with strange gear.

The swordsman's gear looks pretty cool. I'm a fan of the dreamy feel in those first two digital paintings as well.
Thanks, AJM! I have this tendency of using only the standard hard-edge brush in photoshop to paint things, so when I do more abstract conceptual paintings they end up feeling like a strange memory. I'm hoping to learn how to better refine my edges without lineart in order to make things more solid and coherent.
Here's some more strange armor on people.

This one is my current work-in-progress. Working title is "Blood-Brain Barrier".

Finished up a sketch for my Pathfinder character, Si'R Macua Hui, or more commonly "Seer Hui". She's a beastbrood tiefling synthesist, but she had such a high CHR stat that I had to make her adorable.
I'm not sorry![]()
