sweet imagination and concepts! overall this SB is diverse and beautiful.

When you finish a piece balance out the soft brush strokes with hard brush strokes. just balance it. Soft brushes may be your style but i think adding hard edges and refining your edges would make your work more depthy and nice.
    Google some new brush sets
This guy's brush set is amazing.
Also try Daarken's he has more numerous brushes.

Would love to see more. Keep at it!

Hey man thanks for checkn out my sb. Nice workload and imagination. For the Studies, make sure you get the core gesture before hitting the contour, it would give you a better starting point and improve the structure. Also try and find a copy of the imaginefx anatomy edition, it's really useful. Keep rocking pal!

Just a quick post. not much today due to busy. Next step is choosing 1 character and refining/transforming into a large collaboration of different designs based around that character. including weapon sheets/armour, potential pets etc.
A final design to model, and later to animate in a few months, but for now, designing time!

Would like to thank all those who have checked out my sketchbook and given me useful feedback
Drop by my deviant too if you'd like to add me or watever, its a new account

    6/30 (Goal)

Not my best works during these "Daily sketches" But when i get more time, i will do better ones accordingly, this is mainly if not purely to teach me to commit.
and i think commitment is very neccesary to keep on your toes.
Of course, when i do have the actual spare tme, i will do better stuff haha!

    Feedback and loving comments welcome

    Back :D yayay

Welcome back all my fellow ConceptArt friends! Hopefully the upgrade makes it more efficient to upload stuff, but for now it seems its just as annoying!

THOUGH its good to be back been working hard on a project of mine, i am making an illustrated book, so far only a small % through the project- but i am glad to share it to get feedback.
these are "rough" thumbnails just showing what type of scene im looking for etc, some more detailed than others, but its good practice for me.

Hopefully b able to still put studies and other fun pieces here on conceptart.org too, in due time

Feedback more than welcome on my illustrations, please be constructive but dont hammer me into the ground haha!

Recent pieces i am putting in my first group exhibition - my first exhibition also!
am throwing in 6 other older pieces of mine too, mainly b+w images stuck onto 12x12cm cards places on the walls. a total of 12 small peices
Holidays coming up soon, so i am excited i will b able to post often, and really get my arts skills.
My goal for the holidays is to step it up, get some solid foundations in- i have 4.5 months holidays and i hope i can draw everyday of that, the goal is approx 2 hours at least. anything more will b absolutely fantastic.
i might gradually raise the stakes as i go. I just need some solid skills if im ever going to have a chance of making it in the Games/Art industry and i think i can do it, if i try and stay focused.
So hopefully in a week i will b posting here more than ever, getting some great feedback- and giving some great feedback in return too !

    Peace all.

Also i have a GAME concept
i have worked on in the last few months, i am making a sequel to it now also
Its a safe site, on the rmit university servers, so its all cool to play

Nianto -> Thanks, they where suprisingly quick and i did enjoy them thanks i hope holidays go well too! want to at least double my skills!

A Random piece for an assignment, not very fun- the concept here is a statue coming to life, it's supposed to have "movement" to it. so, hopefully it has a bit.
Not my finest work, but some aspects i enjoy of it.

Ok well this isnt my art post for the day, but being on holidays i have plenty of spare time.
So i would like to show you my low poly model (approx 3k tris)? which is just basic bump mapped, has an ambient map on the claws, and yeah.
pretty new to modelling, this was a long project, but i think i could replicate and do better work in under a few days for sure. and i will give that a try, as its something i need to get good at!

and underneath is just the basic layout of a game i made, its pretty simple- but again a learning curve. The snapshots are done in Unity ( a game engine) i also want to make better graphics in that, but i dont find it as important as 3d modelling itself because well, unity isnt as fun . but it sure makes games!.
I shall be posting some art up later,

And u can try out the game here too, its a safe site on our university server so give it a try!
    http://raws.adc.rmit.edu.au/~s3329789/
Its not particularly fun, its just a different type of game experience

Finished this one, was with Corel painter 12, using the digital 'oils' was actually stupidly hard to use effectively, so im quite relieved with the outcome, i wouldnt say proud though haha.
Sadly the stress has got to me and i am sick once again, i am hoping this passes without any grave consequence to it. but i will try to do as much art as possible Enjoy!
