Huge improvements! Are you self taught?
TopSecret yes i amive done some tafe and still at uni, but in terms of Drawing/Painting no one has taught me anything except for myself. Although i am looking into getting some private classes. Some design i learned in class
you got style man! keep pushing out work!
kevin_ yo thanks man!~
err todays efforts, tried not spending too much time polishing work up, trying to stay loose...focus on idea's atm....environments ive barely practiced, they are fun to do tho. Last one is a study. Crits please in dire need of direction xx![]()
hahahahahhahahaha
Nice work here, love the way you move your brush around. Dreamy and wavy. Good choice of colours too!
just a environment focusing on colours and .....mood i guess the designs fukd (theres no design) but i mite use this as reference for a proper painting. Busy working on some commision some ppl dumped on my ass not long ago and i dont get paid. Yer
Struggle town
environments make me tired for some reason. I will keep practicing at them because im pretty noob. this one was a study but then i just played around with it. The 2nd screenies is from a 3d tutorial. Boring i know, i mite aswell show it. THe aspect ratio of the images got squashed slightly and i cbf fixing it.
working on a plan to make sure im studying wat i shud be studying! i will show it when i have my plan for the first week. i got the plan from a blog, i will link it later for anyone else to try it out![]()
character i need to 3d model for an assignment...atm im leaving it very simple be cause we are blocking in the initial form first. Add details later
drawing im working on inbetween uni work
I love how your line work is quickly evolving!
One thing I wanted to add is that you may want to consider strengthening your focal point when it comes to lighting and hard edges. Much of your rendered work feels pretty soft (especially seen in the environments) and I think that putting further emphasis on your lighting would really help bring much of the stronger elements out. Keep pushing, you have something great in the works.
mmmmmmeexcellent. i agree with coinpurse, very rapid evolution happening here TR.
Love the bike too.

Nice stuff T-man![]()
Hey dude, getting better there. I like the painterly approach you've been developing, those quickies are really nice.
Still I suggest a lot of reference studies, really simple, in pencil, to make your proportions and foreshortening better at places. keep it up.
ive lost some motivation for awile, but im getting back into the swing. This new conceptart 4.0 sure take some time getting used to. thanks for comments![]()
3 pages to catch up on since I was last here and you've melted your figures even more. Like the bike.
Black Spot ill try harder to correct my mistakes
Black spot ive been really unmotivated lately and havent tried working on my weaknesses. hopefully i can change that
some stuff
Great progress! i'm loving your street influence it's a really nice mix. Were there any particular excercises you found useful to achieve the very loose strokes you have developed??

check out my : SKETCHBOOK: All critiques much needed and WELCOMED!
wutangclam thanksno particular exercises....i guess i was just interested in alot of loose techniques from looking at other artists...and at one stage i thought "quantity over quality" which i attempted to draw faster with alot of random strokes. Im trying to slow down now and really learn things proper.
some stuff. trying some perspective
no ref for this one. tried my best
