rocket_guy My first go at making a pic starting with values only, and adding color in a color layer afterwards. I really enjoyed this technique.

Bug_01... Also a "values first" pic.. Decided to add a fast, sketchy linedrawing on top of this one to tie it together and finish it quicker.

tesla_attack... this is an older pic that I touched up recently with some color dodge..
On that stage you need draw from life/photos more than from imagination. Its really help you to grow faster

You have some great ideas but you need too back it up with more knowledge. Do some studies from life and photos to help improve you stuff.

Good work so far...no crits...just encouragement to keep 'em coming!

Thanx guys.. Yeah I know. Real life is what I need. And shall commit to. Cheers.![]()
Some really nice progression, and I really like your last dragon pic! Would be great to see a background in that one too.
Hi, great sketchbook, your perspectives and characters are looking good. Watch out for the reflection in post 42, I may be wrong but not sure you want the planet on the surface of the hanger? Also, with anatomy studies (03 & 04) not sure why you have left out the heads. The proportions seem good although miss Anatomy 03 may find difficulty finding a bra that fits!?!
Hi Dayle. Thanx for your comment. LOL!
Yes you´re right about the planet reflection... Always thought something was fishy there... thanx for pointing it out! Yeah I know that Miss 03´s breasts did get a little messed up.. Just the slightest miss in shadow and that´s the result... shall try to fix that one..
