Thanks for visiting my sketchbook.
I'm loving your pencil sketches, all really nice. The first ocarina picture I thought was some sort of a space hair dryer, never actually seen one before. I then remembered it is a musical instrument.Great job!

I'm really liking the concept behind one of the playing around in photoshop picture. Being on a swing that's being held up by someone else, and she doesn't seem entirely sure it's a good idea, heh.
The portrait looks good in terms of construction, to me anyway although I get the feeling her nose should be protruding a little further from her face at that angle and obscuring more of her cheek.
Still really enjoying your studies, makes me want to work hard too :B
Caspia: thank you very much!
Another skull lifepainting and everything is just.. off. I need to practice more!

I need to step out of my comfort zone! I never do things with vanishing points or interior scenes. I need to change that. Here's a photo referenced study:

Your photostudies as well as your pencil sketches look great.
The studies looks promising! Keep pushing those out. They get better by each post.

Wooli:thanks!
Loathsome: thanks! I try to do more!
shako: thanks for visiting!
2 more photostudies. Not really satisfying, I need way to much time to do them and have problems to get the colours/values and shapes right. Well, practising will help.

I don't know if I should call this photostudy or photo referenced portrait XD

some studies (a photo and screenshots from Empire of the Sun's "we are the people"). I used Painttool Sai this time because I just haven't enough knowledge about the program to work precise XD I want to learn how to use less brushstrokes and how to make them in a nice and visible way

I like the screenshot studies, they have a good energy to them!

Heyya!
You really do have a very beautiful sketchbook here!
As, I said before, your ink and pencil work is wonderful, and so is your grasp of the human figure.
Keep working hard on your digital work! It is getting very good!
P.S. Thanks for the post on my SB!
Just Call Me Bruce!: thanks a lot!
greyskill: thank you very much!
no studies today. Had no time to do some over the weekend. But I think, this evening will be lifedrawing again =)
But anyway, here's an update. I'd like to participate in the RIFT contest on DeviantArt. It's not that I have a chance, but it can be fun to design a colossus. I started with the lifeplane one

Thank you for your kind words.
I really like your creatures. The concepts look great and they're full of personality. The last one a lot as well - it looks weird in a good way (that's a compliment! It's my favourite style). Anyhow, I don't have any good advice or anything I can confidently crit on so all I can say is keep practising, hehe.

Aval:thanks!
Some different new stuff.
Starting with life drawings. First time I tried to draw some students at the university with pencils and... I failed. It's easier for me using a ball pen Oo
sketches from imagination:

I have even done some anatomy studiess, but I don't like to them show. Nothing interesting about them

Nice to see you do some studiesYou're pretty busy lately, that's good
Try to keep an eye on colourvariation. Take a look at your skintones, right now you mostly use olive variations. You really need to add different hues to add more life to those colours. Also try to use some grey to desaturate some colours. sometimes we think it's a different hue, but then it's just the same colour desaturated which makes it look cooler... Use a colourpicker on your reference and see how the hue changes even pixel by pixel, even if just slightly. That's the effect you want to achieve![]()
really dig this one, http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...8&d=1306529061 The contrast of light/shadow really pops up. Great job.
