Kambei Shimada: Thanks, don't get many visitors. I'll try to post more.
Been practicing lines lately no painting, more light block - ins, and a sketch.
Nice linework, nice painting, just great stuff all around lately. Those figures are looking really solid. I really like your painting/blending style, it's got a nice, soft look to it.
Revidescent: Thanks, glad you came by ^_^
Only 2, tried playing with perspective in one of them, I failed. Anyway, I'm back to training.
2 unfinished figure stuffs...
Good work here, and there's been some improvement since the beginning as well. You've been studying, and pushing your work in different directions. Nothing to crit from my end, just keep doing what you're doing.
I saw you mention that you don't get many visitors. Don't let that put you down, it's always like that at first. The more you improve, the more attention you'll have, and soon enough your thread will have a number of visitors. Also, this is an internet forum. You need to interact with people to get people to know about you. Find out sketchbooks that you identify with, and speak up. I'm sure you'll have a lot more people looking at your art then.
I apologize for not being able to provide any criticism regarding your art. To be honest, you're doing quite well. Keep going!
Vritra: Thank you so much, your right I need to start getting to know more people around here. Again, thank you.
The first part of a large tutorial I am trying to make , they are actually just some notes I had in my sketchbook. An empty sketch, and a practice painting focusing on forms and such.
nice! you should try oils man, i love the still life's, im pretty sure you'r gonna love the oil feeling when taking those mad skills into a real canvas.
-We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.

My SKETCHbook
careful not to burn yourself because your blending its HOT! you can see the form really well, keep up the awesome work!
my sketchbook! Drawing like a maniac!!
My Blog
Destroy your weaknesses! theres nothing more to it! stop bitching grab that pencil and sketch Away!
rem92: Thanks for coming by, I wish I could but I am poor, unfortunate because somehow my stuff is better on paper than on digital because of the accuracy.
lionheartGFX: Thanks, you keep working hard as well. ^_^
Just easy painting stuff, just to settle on a solid painting process. That was one of the my problems, not knowing how I should start.
Here are some digital sketches too.
Great sketchbook! Just read through it! It's really inspiring!
One question: How do you get your rendering so smooth and full of volume like in #94? Do you have any advice on how to achieve it? =]
Interesting sketchbook, impressive progress since the first post.
Love the panther one, reminds me of my good old cat![]()
DennisH-Art: Thanks for coming by, to get it smooth I use aa special watercolor brush, to get good volume, well,
I just study some faces beforehand.
JuliusObviousMagnus: Thank you. ^_^
CHOW progress (note: I've never drawn a goblin in my life, so its strange.)
I know it's late in the game but something bugs me about his pose and I think it's the way he's holding those knives/daggers oh so symmetrically.
If you're up to making some changes, you could try playing around with the position of his arms and upper torso.
You could also try adding some more accessories to flesh out his character (necklaces, trophies, tattoos).
Thanks for stopping by capt Surge, i really appreciate it. Looking at your sketchbook is wowing me, seriously, from the figures to the black and white studies. Keep 'em coming. i'd love to see some of your pencil sketches though.
Thanks for giving my sketchbook a visit, you've really gotten figures down man, it's excellent, and I love your linework, but most of all you really know how to give your drawings mass
Also, that tutorial about proportions on post #101 is actually pretty good![]()

My (currently) terrible sketchbook
Jondawo: Thanks for the crit, your right I should try break up the space in a way so that its not boring, and yeah the pose sucks. ^_^
Yemi775: Thanks dude, no problem I need to make more friends around here, I can't really show pencils because I don't have a good scanner and my phone takes lame pictures.
Thistleborn: Thanks, I try to improve on forms because that's what will make or break a painting.
Lines of a character for a fake comic, and an unfinished female statue painting. I'll finish the statue at a later time.

lines, studies, quick sketches and such...
Something weird is happening with the site but anyway. An unfinished oddly colored figure...
did the face and changed the colors, and a wip of a character...
Thought I'd take a sketch that I did and color it. Almost done just need to fix some things and render, render, render...
Gonna keep this in grayscale, this is the farthest this picture goes...
I have a new livestream for drawing and stuffz if anyone cares...

started livestream http://livestre.am/4k6eQ
I'll try to make the image quality better on the stream thingy, I sketched Batman for fun. ^_^
