I want to start an online Sketchbook here to become a better artist
I like mattepainting and concept art, so I'll work on environment essentially.
At this time I'm not really happy with my arts. Never satisfied :/ I hope some mates could help me to improve myself with good advices & tips

Hi everyone!
I bought James Gurney's book : "Color & Light". This book is amazing
So today I've done 3 more sketchs. I tried to applicate some basic lighting effects

I'm really liking the three last environments, the middle green and blue one in particular catches my eye despite its simplicity.

Book worth the buy? Color and light is always fascinating.

I'm sort of dumbfounded by how accurate your anatomy studies are to the originals. Fantastic work and clever to draw with the red on top.

OK, I have a big problem, my digital paintings, without lines, sucks.... I need to work on them... so I try 2 test last night. I tied to force myself to draw without lines at the beginning... just shapes...
