Nice sketches!
specially the life drawings, really good proportions and anatomy.
You should practice more coloring (traditional or digital) because It would be nice to see them in color.
Experiment with light and color

I like the ink and washes ones, they look very expressive!
The colored one looks good, it has a nice use of simple cellshading. It's a very nice and clean looking illustration.
A screwed up life drawing session today.
A tattoo design that I recently done.

It's curious, cause your life drawing looks quite 3dimensional, but drawings from imagination not really. Try constructing them with 3d shapes, and study light a bit more. Shadows are usually more saturated that will help the picture stay cleaner. When shadows get greyish the whole thing gets muddy right away.

Heya thanks for hopping byI pretty much agree with Sarmati. Your studies look really good but you're stuff from imagination still looks rather flat. Like Vilppu said: You need to analyze the model, not copy it. And use that knowledge in your own work when constructing figures

I really find your most recent skeletal study very amazing. I like how you took an old painting and drew how the character's skeleton would look.
Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook, Brandon.
Studies are looking pretty good, I like your clean lines, but be careful that your drawings, especially ur digital stuff is looking flatter, try to visualize the shapes in 3d, and draw around and inside the forms... right now the lines look a little too outliney, maybe try to get some line variation in there....I think you could "draw through" the forms a bit more too..
Keep doing value and color studies too
keep it up!![]()
Nice last post, those things are hard to do. Loving the flow of your life studies! Keep it up!
Thanx. They're really not hard to do. Just time-consuming.

Absolutely adore the ink and wash stuff. The tattoo design even appeals to me. The anatomy sketches are really what I see plastered all over Concept art so I assume that you need to make it really stand out if you want it to take preference. All over though you are really good, yet come across as still expressing your desire to utilise all media which comes across as though you enjoy trying different mediums which is absolutely great. Keep it up!
