    thread avatar

    The Quest begins now!
I departed in September when I got my equipment for the journey:
    1x Wacom Tablet

    Quest 1, painting people

The last one is still work in progress. I am drawing this for a Digart Concept Art challenge (Polish Conceptart Message Board)

great start to your sketchbook you're on the right track, just keep hammering away at what you're doing (Y) watch your proportions, such as on this, the belly button is much too low, limbs slightly too thin, ass too wide etc; you could also really benefit from studying anatomical structure - look up loomis, bridgeman, hogarth, vilpuu and other guys (you'll find plenty of recommendations for other anatomy studies around here ); and dont be afraid to push those contrasts. hope this helps (:
keep it up, im looking forward to seeing you improve!

It looks like you have a nice sense of value and the texture you're adding to some of your work really brings the piece together and makes it interesting (for example, in this image). I agree with Jessibelle's comment; anatomical foundation appears to be the biggest thing holding you back right now. Your figures lack a sense of structure, and you seem to particularly struggle with joints (like the shoulder and hip). I think it would really help for you to learn about the skeleton and musculature of the human body so you can learn to add accurate structure and definition to your people. Loomis is a good place to start (you can buy some of his books from amazon now that they're back in print, or you can find them online - if you click on this link, then scroll down they have four of his books that you can choose to see the individual pages. Figure Drawing for all its Worth talks about the structure of the human body as a whole.)

    Your works looks pretty good.
    Haha these cat is amazing

You know how to create some nice mood by using proper colors. Mood, and color is surely good point of your works!

Basically all i can say is that you are on the right track, and all you need to do is to draw more. Basically do exactly what you are doing Just don't be lazy.

Btw. are you from the Poland?

    Stunning watercolors!

The way you capture the volumes in your Posemaniacs figures is impressive as well.
