good work! I like your sketches, you're really good with shading with pencils.

some concepts to bump the thread. realized the importance of live model studies the day before yesterday. looks like I'm going to do them (often) or as often as I'll manage.
also, need to buy a 0.35 mecha pencil, non-mecha 3h+ suck in terms of values.
also need more thorough studies of live people, again.

Some of stuff for today and yesterday (:
today has been a leg day, though I've spent some time on general cleaning
some more from today and yesterday. sunday was a D&D day, not much work on it, meh =d
have to study latissimi dorsi. Feng Zhu is a huge inspiration, tho' I don't really understand whether he has «personal projects».
Some more sketches for today (=
Some more sketches from yesterday's night. Kind of rough (I don't really like the legs on first, since I failed to build a dynamic pose), but more than nothin': I leave for a friend now and won't be able to post in the next 30 hours or so. Have a nice day! (=
oh man, you already got quite some rendering skills, work harder on your figures proportions
0000, thanks, I still have lots of anatomy to grind
proceeding, some more (=
more for today )
I need to sketch, like, three times this possibly, but last night I was bogged down with game design -.-
Inasmuch as it stops me from sketching, I am sure it will pay off later.
I should do a big work or something like, with basics preset in 3H, should get better rendering. Got 0.35 mechanical fixed.
Other news, slowly crunching on torso anatomy, especially the ribcage. Motivation to all of you out there! (=
very inspiring SB.....your Daily grind is INSANELY awesome. with that mileage you'll surely improve ALOT in very little time...
keep up the good work!!
Aye..very bold sb. Very inspiring! I hope I can follow you example...I see so much improvement!

Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Nobody made good art by coloring in between the lines.
Thanks guys, your support really means a lot to me. However on Monday (and today) I was busy reorganizing my view on my art and what do I do it for. I could surely keep on doing 16-17-hour work time up, but it felt pointless because after a long game design streak on Saturday I've rethought my view on game development as well. And I must now strive to take more freelance gigs in order to gain self-respect and to be able to buy the food I need. I'm planning to keep things up as active as I can in the coming year but I am not really sure yet what will become of it since my attention might be needed in other things (lots of plans).
brb as soon as I can
some semi-old sketch-study of a character from a game I am making
Just dropping today's stuff. Had a lot of thoughts but not really in a mood for diary-writing right now

conceptart is back =O never been happier in 2013, lol )
some more.
hi guys.
just freed myself from all the other business things on Monday, but was violently sick. working on anatomy atm, some from daily things
Great work, try doing some still life paintings too, easier stuff like apples, vases, spoons etc. Focus on different things like getting the colour right or lightning. It makes you learn faster when the brain doesn´t have to think about to much at the same time.
Hey CA, been shifting on-and-off scratching these three months and I believe I've learned something. Style is important as well, mh, as are colouristic compositions. It's kinda funny for me how I have never ever tried these before. I am looking through lots of Allods Online concepts and really delighted with detail rhytm and color contrast they represent. I've also started small colour studies, daily. Thinking about 3D again, as well.
several latest scribbles enclosed
I will not be uploading here everything I draw since I've stopped to value all the small things. I don't really think they are of use to anyone here, and honestly, I believe some ideas can be used later so maybe I should just keep and develop them while I can
Bowandbrush, thanks man, I'll try to, been thinking about this today as well lol, regarding color study.
Something I should've finished some time ago, but being lazy. preparing for exams
