    Great concepts! I've always thought testicles would make perfect hot balloon flotation devices
    Also I think the images get darker because you're working in a different RGB space than the one from Firefox? Not sure.

    hahaha funny comments! thanks!!
    i havce a lot to answer for, here goes..
    @ DNVN thank you. the inner rooms would be ambiently scaled so youd have 2km high great hall, town in the chandelier etc. for a wonderfully vivid story in this world, check out Feersum Endjinn by Iain M Banks, its amazing.
    @yochanan; good suggestion sir, i tried it and it worked! i think atmospheric blue is my favourite colour you know.
    @Eleyon: thank you my friend! actually i have very short attention span, hence everything is a bit messy, i like to spend maximum 6 hours on any one image; ie too long to call it a sketch, but too sloopy to call it finished hehe
    @Vinicam thanks a lot dude!
    @Greenhouse; no i didnt do them in 3d, and they came out looking a bit funny as i did the orthographics a bit hurriedly, something reviewers picked up on which was a tad embarassing. live and learn!!
    @Krysjez: yep that watch is £450grand. which i find completely sickening. ha dont be scared, its amazing what you can do with a bit of practice and money!!
    @wutang clam, love the name btw! hmm, i guess my tips would be get into 3d, it helped me learn a lot about lighting, and yeah just practice, find ways to make interiors interesting to you..
    @asa, thank you homie!
    @sony thanksss buuuuuddddyyyyyyyyy!!!
    @ChisLu hehehe
    @Morkai; no those suggestions are spot on, and normally id agree, but the crazy thing about the castle in the story is that although its encrusted in towns and villages inside and out, the actual main sturcutres are all buiilt on that monsterous scale. the book implies it was a joke. i like to imagine Disney did it!
    @lightship haha thank you mate! the answer is there are no giants. at least, i dont think so. but i might be wrong!
    @crackpot, thank you very much for having a look!!
    @snake you should write a book, youre crazy paragraphs always make me smile
    @Jamie Romoser: thank Jamie! i wont stop until my hands fall off, which hopefully wont be for a while yet!
    @Kungfoowiz; have ytou read Feersum Endjinn? if not youd love it!
    @ccsears; thank you very much sir!
    @King; right back at you homes!
    @satu thankyou!!
    @lightship, i coughed. then lolled!
    @psage thanks!! i think i messed up the vanishing points a bit, next time itll be less brainbending!
    @harmageddon aww thanks mang!
    @chevy is always a pleasure to learn someone enjoyed something, so thank you a lot for commenting!
    @Fetch haha well i think it was a total fluke, but thank you sir for your ongoing support!
    @ja1037 thank you very much! I thought the crocodile thing might actually be like a wierd gun, or the place where a gun might have been unmounted from.. i wasnt entirely sure...
    @ross ah i missed you man, your crits are bob on, ive tried to respond to them in this newer work, see if its made any difference..
    @umbravita muchismo gracias senor!
    @vritra, thank you for your kind words mate, and really glad to see youre still here too!
    @flaskpost thank you!!
    @GH thank you again! the green valley was just from spazzing around with big brushes, i really recommend it for generating ideas!
    @siiillon, thanks a bunch mate!
    @krysjez well part of the cost is the raw materials, gold etc, part is the difficulty of making the thing, and part is just because they can, and peolpe will pay it. for 700000 dollars you could pay you and all your friends way through university. its a crazy world..
    @asa hehe you cant beat a good seagull!
    @Jr Molcak thank you so much! inspiring people to draw, man thats awesome, i hope it helps!
    @HK hehe apple's way more popular than jesus!
    @takashmen, hmm you jmight be right. it always seems to push the blacks down about 10%. not sure why really..
    @GH dude you got to try painting in highlights, its super fun!
    @Kungfoowiz, haha another Angry Boys fan in da house??
    @will123will thank you very much!
    @xinranliu hahaha i lolled!
    @snake, oh you old flatterer, dont ever change yer hear?

    I iked the greenhouse pics without the time machine better to be honest. The thing looks slightly cut and pasted, which may come from the large amount of detailing on it. Also, but im not sure on this, with the reflective nature of the material in mind, wouldn't you see more of the ambient colurs coming back on it's surface?

    But on a less nitpicky note, love the colours in post 1054, pic nr 3. Fantastic mood!

    hi i really like your work. The variety and amount of work you do is really daunting not to speak of the quality .
    To the last piece. I dont know how far you want work it out but i think if you would blur the background more it would give it a even greater depth. Another Thing is the wing of the sphinx it tangents the forest its kinda hard to see whats infront and whats not. Anyways really cool piece.

    greetings

    Hi bud

    Hope you are hale and hearty! I love the time machine concept matey that is very good, but I am interested to know why the thing has wheels?
    Is that a description from the HG wells book or did you just decide to take a flyer at it? I have never read that book so I dont know what the description of the machine is like and being a fundamentally nosey old fart I thought I'd ask.
    If fact the only visual reference I can think of off hand is the one from the original film with Rod Taylor in it, I think that was his name anyhow, When I watched the film years ago for the first time when I was very little the nasty morlocks scared the Poo out of me!! lol

    As usual I am delighted that I made you Laugh out loud with my utter nonsense!! thats what I aim for in life all my buds laughing, its not much to ask and I do try.

    all the best to you as usual old chap, stay well and keep on posting.

    P.S. congratulations on being asked to do this:-

    Aha, I didn’t realize that it’s the same machine from the greenhouse which has turned over in the later images. The time machine is brilliant, love the idea!
    Something exciting is always happening in your images and that’s very interesting. Keep rocking VK!
