Awesome artist and friends

hi man,
i like sketchy, experimental quality of sketchbook. You've written somewhere about your laziness. What are yor "lazy "approaches to learning ?
I am asking because your sb is quite unusual here and probably you have different thoughts and insights;]
keep the good job and take care
Hey thanks guys! i hope ive replied to you all
I thought, to save you going through all the pages, Id grab some of the things from the past few months i thought went ok and put them all in one place..
Anyone ever read Tennyson? I found this in a book in a charity shop:
I dipt into the future, far as human eye could see,
Saw the Vision of the world, and all the wonder that would be;
Saw the heavens fill with commerce, argosies of magic sails,
Pilots of the purple twilight dropping down with ghostly bales;
Heard the heavens fill with shouting, and there rain'd a ghastly dew
From the nations' airy navies grappling in the central blue.

AMAZING! all I have to say , your stuff is so freaking disconcerting and alien it sends shivers down my spine !
Mr Kendall: Thanks, that means a lot coming from a guy like you,
I mean, a guy with his lungs so or even more wasted than mine.
no, really your work is awesome, fuck, I wish I was half of persistent than you to keep drawing and posting.
thanks for inspiration

Woah!
You are really sick
Amazing stuff you got in here.
Sometimes i have to look more than 2 times to recognize whether it's a painting or 3D picture.
Amazing progress.
Your motivation seems to be really great. Am i allowed to be envious ?
Keep it up!

Your hired! (I don't actually have a company or any money so settle down!)
That's some really nice stuff, so of which I haven't seen! So don't forget about the little people who like to look at what you're creating
As for the path of least resistance, I think you might find that the path you speak of, might actually be the path of problem solving that I (you) have created over time that works for me (you) at this point in time.
I don't think it's what you're doing now, but it can sound a little belittling to the skills you have developed so far
Keep it up Kendallbro!
As a random aside, I'm eating a raw carrot. That apparently, according to the packet is 99.9% fat free. So I'm safe(seriously a raw carrot! Wow)

It's all about the image and the design, there's nothing lazy about taking the fastest way to get that image. As well I don't see work like yours that often I find it really refreshing.
I love these 3.

Dude!!!! I just love your works, man. Digital painting and photo manipulation. Wish I was confident like you to try out door stuffs....
damn good stuff, especialy the tech stuff is great.
thankyou amazing friends, replies in your sbs
Apologies in advance
Here are some things by other people I scribbled on instead of giving them a confusing paragraph of my suggestions. i never got their permission, so feel free to complain if you think this is out of order. On the other hand Id LOVE it if anyone wanted to scribble on my stuff and post it here, that would be mega.
1) I love Yuta's picture, i really wish id painted this one!!
2) Meirou is only about 12 and can paint like a god. i think shes a genius and you should go check out her work and give her a job. I couldnt resist adding some hard tech mating with her lovely soft feminine scene. She was baffled but very polite about it. Seriously go now and look her up, amazing skills.
3)I love the wierd dreamy vibe of Matts picture and just wanted to crop it a bit.
4? Sorry Partisan, i hope you dont mind, I love your guardian and really couldnt resist fucking about with him... Id love to spend hours on all of these but that would be crossing a line i feel..

I noticed in your OP that you do a lot of architectural visualization. Have you ever received any kind of formal training in architecture? Because you work like you have. I love your juxtapositions of the suburban home against those sleek, formal geometries, for instance. I'm also really enjoying what you're doing with the 3D modeling software. You employ, as far as I can tell, a radically different approach in its application, and then meld rendered imagery with illustration and photography in ways that could be called audacious (in a very good way!).
Subscribed.
love the recap of your art. that's a good idea for a sketchbook. love your paintovers too, anytime you'd like you can paintover my crap.
i'm going to have to check out those books you were mentioning. The Forge of God series sounds awesome!!.
awaiting more awesomeness from you, my man of inspiration!

Hello! Brilliant work!! I love your sense of detail, and your vibrant yet subtle use of color! Could you please drop by me sometime and offer me a bit of crit? Also, where do you find your pose drawings for your studies? I would really love to know! Thanks![]()
really creative stuff man love the color use and your geometric shap vs organic shape designs the last 2 in post 393 look awsome really like the desing and color
=D=D=D=D really love your stuff! especially your designs =) it looks new which is really cool, cause most of the time you just see same old and while same old can look cool, sometimes it is good to look at something refreshing =D good job! and keep drawing or modeling (i think a lot of your work is 3d right and if so what do you use?)

Why so awesome?
Hey man, thanks for giving me such thought out advice on my sketchbook. I really appreciate the time you put into thinking about your comment. I want to spend some time looking through your sb so that I can try to cobble together some helpful advice (Though, honestly, you seem to be doing fine on your own) but first I need to know- Are those spaceships galloping free across the plains?!
Also I've read the Rama series twice since I found it last year, but I don't know Eon. But you'd recommend it?
This is amazing! Have you seen Sue?

Wow dude, awesome stuff in here, love the graphic touch you put in your illustation, always nice scales and points of view, For the critics, on characters i would say you should
work a little more your hands and feet, you could also exagerate a little more your poses so we feel a little more weight, sometimes characters are floating a little to my opinion, anyway keep on sharing and thx for the word in my sb

Wow thankyou for the lovely comments and crits people! I shall come over to yours and say hi in a sec.
Fez: nope, no training unfortunately. I just found property developers were reasonably unaffected by the recession and so did lots of bits for them..
Audacious, I love that, thankyou very much!!
Matt: thank you man! Youll love FoG. I also thought Blood Music and Moving Mars were amazing, full of ideas for pictures!
SirEvil: Thankyou sir! I certainly can, crit coming up
prsnsweeney: wow thanks man! you cant beat a good contrast; try it out!
Drey: I didnt forget! I use 3DStudioMax, its a brilliant toy, if you can get hold of a copy try it youll love it! And thank you for your kind comments!
MoKhi your work is so pretty, and varied, Im really glad you put it up. The one of the swimmer in the water is sparkling, it looks a lot like the River Cam here in Cambridge.

I know Sue, although Ive never seen her in the bones. You know that annoying kid in Jurassic Park that does Sam Neils nut all the time? That was me as a kid... Loved a dinosaur!
Eon is incredible; 1986: an asteroid from the future appears in earth orbit. Its divided in 7 stupendous chambers, each filled with wonders. And the 7th chamber seems to go on forever.....
Ryan hahahaha! Partisan is 3 times the painter I am, the detail he puts in is amazing. painting over his stuff is like taking someone elses Porsche for a spin round the track, a real priviledge.
Bhanu me old mucker, Im loving Munky Thugs man, please let me scribble on it some time! Still pretty wierded out by the page topper, but seem to have lots of new work so Im nervously pleased. Is that an emotion?
Bouroune, those are damn good points you know. Some of the guys here have such a way with gestures, you can really see the skeleton supporting the skin and organs and fat and clothes. Definitely on my todo list. Really good crit that I thought.
OK since I cant show you any of the stuff Im doing on pain of death, i thought Id show you guys what Ive seen out the window iiiiin....
VKs Nature Binge!
As you know Im well into nature and shit, which is why I went on location in the middle of Cambridge, set up a hide, skun up and waited to see what interesting animal behaviour I might observe!
It wasnt long before I spotted something....
Here we see an example of Vulpes vulpes, the urban fox.
This amazing creature spent about 10 minutes vomiting baby bones or something all over some paving slabs in my yard before disappearing into the dusk!
This is a rare stone squirrel, Squrrelious Flattus. When threatened by its main predator, a Ford Mondeo, these creatures lie in the road pretending direct traffic until the danger has past, probably.
This impressive beast is a European Hedgehog, Erinaceus europaeus, that I managed to capture eating its natural prey, a bacon baguette. Careful not to get too close in case it turned on me, I managed to photograph it before retreating to a safe distance.

I hope that whetted your appetite for yummy nature, and that you keep a close eye out for natural shit in your area. You can post pictures of stuff youve seen here or PM me, and remember to tune in soon for more animals doing whatever the fuck it is they do next time on VKs Nature Binge!

My neibourhood is invested with Rabbits, I sometimes try and picture what it would be like for them to be terrified of anything that moves or makes a sound. Forge of God is getting really awesome! Looking forward to the sequel already.
The forerunner books are great, I think even more so for a Halo fan since they tend to be well versed in the lore, as am II would say it's the best book by far of all the Halo books, and I've really enjoyed most of them. I'm excited for the second book.
Your ex was very pretty and I'm sure she still is, a shame she's not in your life any more =( At least you have room lindsey lohan or hellen mirren if you opportunity ever arises, yes?

Dude, what the @%)(%@%%. The quality of your updates is so good. I'm subbing now, bitch!.
BLAHBLAHBLAH
That last painting - it took me ages to figure what was throwing me. The sharpness in different areas is wrong. Pick your focal point and stick with it.
I like how much of a mind fuck, in a good way - many of your pieces are - it's a bit like surfing butdoesitfloat and that's a good thing - thanks for posting.
