your figure drawings are pretty great and wild. I'm personally terrified of animating and modeling in 3D, But your stuff...Jesus H Christ. Incredible sir.

Interesting 2d and 3d staff. Like the cars a lot!!!
In some interior pictures the GI creates some wired shadow artifacts on the ceilings. Maybe increasing some settings, could help.

    Cool designs and environments!

The character drawings are more uneven. Perhaps it would be easier if you treated the human body as another machine or industrial design object.

Some very nice faces going on! And you have an eye for scenes

Watch those limbs though, might be a good idea to do some isolated studies of arms and legs and hands. Good luck!

i agree with kiwi, and damn dude, you're def steppin up those sketches, they have more soul, more thought-provoking content, and are just generally more evolved.

The 3D is mind-blowing as usual, not much crit from me, just keep working the rendering on the pencil, maybe a few value studies in that area??

    keep it up my friend!

i love yous guys. all my sketch hands have something of the Jeremy Beadle about them (Jeremy Beadle us a british entertainer from the 80s and 90s with a famously withered little hand)
so im firing up google and gonna do some serious study. and im going to go to town for some proper pencils, my cheapo tesco HBs are decent tools but you tear the page before they give you a proper black
thank you both; Dope, meet me in two minutes in your sketchbook!

i really like your line work. seems very confident.

remember to draw-through in order to get your forms to read in the appropriate directions. i struggle with that to.

Some pretty groovy stuff in here, the 3d made me a bit sick in my face (in a good way). You don't see enough abstract 3d nowadays.
Thx 4 commenting btw, i must admit daved & confused is a song by tipper so credit goes to them for the idea :/

Hey man replying here cause love for teh sketchbook. /sketchbookreply/"The face is referenced, for sure i couldn't do that on my own not yet anyways. The feel, mood and outfit for the guy were from memory. Probably should have made that clear. Lol That song is pretty sweet, i love jazz even though im a metal head."

Also i think i just found one of your weak spots, which there aren't many. Watch out your hands that you're drawing are looking like plasticine sausages!

As for your 3d work you can tell me eff off cause its great and doesnt need crits/

Also also also you should tell me what your fav band is atm, for the music loves.

LBBQ, J-P thank you both! confident I aint, its just from copying the best!
Tipper you say? Tipper Critical Path Tipper?
    Jaunsters
Im one big weak spot, although 50 odd days into mission learn to draw and my hand does feel like its loosening up. my drawn hands on the other, erm, in contrast, are terrible. heres some training to rectumfy this situation... see below. still not right but better

REF: for some reason i read this as labradors hands... http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...rers_hands.jpg

I love your guy, hes full of life. however you achieve it its working.
music... i dont talk favourites, ive a new favourite every day, but my joint second fave bands are Joy Division, and Autechre. Superlatives run out.. I guess the rule is, 10% of any genre will rock, and 90% will suck... Sturgeons Law? Killgore Trouts Theorum? something like that. whats moving you at the moment?
    Enjoy:
