Any suggestions to improve? I'd really like to include this in my portfolio since I'm seriously lacking architecture/linear perspective examples.

Hey guys, I got caught in Hurricane Sandy so my power will be out for as long as a a week. Thankfully my family and I are alright, just a bit cold without heating, but we're all safe.
The Elizabeth Mitchell facial studies were in preparation for a sculpture that I now have a lot of time on my hands to finish due to the storm haha. I've been sculpting in the daylight hours. A better picture will come later and hopefully soon

Power will be out for a few more days apparentlyI can't wait to be reunited with my tablet haha
Latest update, with some other angles included. I'm still trying to figure out how to sculpt her hair while keeping the piece lighter than my last one. I know her neck is too long. I have yet to cut off the excess clay and form the base.
Also, an updated version of my latest environment piece:

kevin_: Thank you!
Fuggedaboudit: About 6 hours, give or takeThanks!
FINALLY got my electricity back after a week of miserable, dark, cold, and dreary days, and naturally I had to celebrate with a quick digital sketch. I was reading the second Mistborn book to kill the time I wasn't using for the sculpture so I decided to do a more spontaneous scribble in response to what I'd read. It was this scene more specifically (Spoilers ahead!):
“I can handle it,” Vin said. “Someone needs to watch over you.”
“Yes,” Elend said, “but who watches over you?”
Kelsier. Even now, that was still her immediate reaction. She’d known him for less than a year, but that year had been the first in her life that she had felt protected.
Kelsier was dead. She, like the rest of the world, had to live without him.

EOW and a personal piece about a post-apocalyptic American rebellion.
What colleges?!
I think the EOW thing could be improved on if it was a more dramatic camera angle, like if it was looking up at the sitting statue so that it looks more immense. Or even if the horizon line was just anywhere but right in the center.
skMOP: RISD, SVA, and Pratt so far! Hopefully there won't be a need to apply to any more hah
Totally agree with you there! I'll have to revisit that piece later.
It's been a while since I've done a CHOW. The topic really caught my attention, so I thought I'd give it a go. Also here's some Abe Lincoln speedpaint action because what's a good sketchbook post without that.
Done with CHoW!

Woo nice, I really like the red in the skin and the plant design in the image!
I love sketchbooks like this - where you see the work put in and the results - in your case, dramatic improvement! Keep it up!
Thank you all for your kind comments!
I got accepted ED to RISD with a half ride, and EA to SVA and Pratt, but I will be attending RISD in the fall!! My major will most likely be Illustration.
Here's an Adventure Time piece I just finished:

I think the reason for my art funk was finishing my college portfolio stuff. it left me with a feeling of like "whew I'm done drawing forever" for a bit. maybe that was the case for your funk too hahaReally great job on the rendering on the last one, just watch out on the dude's foot, it looks a bit awkward.

skMOP: haha oh gosh, yes, definitely. I also finally had too much freedom to paint whatever I wanted that I didn't know what to paint!
Thanks!I was trying to paint it as if he was turning the corner, but maybe it doesn't read that way.
Some JT action for the school newspaper and ME3 fan art WIP
HOLY CRAP, keep up the great work! It's amazing how you've improved so much over the last two years. You inspire me. c:

Oh my gosh, I really love the Mistborn painting/scribble. I love Elend and Vin, and Kelsier makes me cry.
jorvaa: Ahh thank you! I love them too. They're absolutely precious

Awesome sb you got here! I think you would get a lot out of pushing your pieces just a notch more. Some of them has awesome written all over them, but then they are just not finished/cared about enough. Anyways, just my two cents. Keep it up!
Dile_: Thanks! That's a really interesting observation. I don't think that unfinished quality is obvious to me but that's really something I need to think about. Thank you for that, seriously.
More BioShock fan art. One finished piece and a scribble
