    Do you like Zombies?

    Hey,

If you enjoy my work, check my very first shirt design actually placed on a shirt. Then I went farther then that, I am trying to sell them to interested buyers. If you like Zombies, and like clever things about zombies, you will like this shirt. If you would spread it around, so I can get at least 86 views. If you work in a resturant you'll get it...haha.... Here it is..

Oh...I was hoping this was going to be a debate about our favourite kind of zombies/survival tactics in case of zombie apocolypse. :C

    Nice shirt though.

I like the fast scary ones like from 28 days later or Left 4 Dead. The slow, demonic ones are, of course, classic, but it's just scarier when it runs right fucking at you! AAAAAh

I love it when you have the infected animals. Because we all know, if you're facing up against a sea of infected rats- you'd have a terrible time swatting all of them away without a scratch.

The slow/hard to kill ones are great. But you need them to be in an un-imaginable bulk and swarming survivors, don't you? That way it's terrifying.
    Ahh. Gotta love zombies.

A zombie's only reason of existance is to eat brains/spread disease.

So if the wearer of this t-shirt only eats brains when they feel like it, they aren't a correctly functioning zombie, amirite?

    Didn't click the spam link.

    But, I'll talk zombies!

My vote's for the fast zombies as being scarier. They don't have to outnumber and corner you to be dangerous.

Plus, "28 Days Later" taught us that the fast zombies' propensity to spew infected bodily fluids can turn you without a proper chomping.

    You know,
What about combining the slow with the fast?
like a ratio of 1/50 (1 fast for every 50 slow) I lose interest if I see too many fast ones. But if they're unexpected, it'd work great.

Or atleast I'd like to think it would.. xD

Fun fact: if you lived in the UK (where guns are MUCH harder to get ahold of) I think pretty much any zombie would be pretty dangerous.

Agreed. And when the Zombie Apocalypse comes you'll probably find me in the gardening section of B&Q stocking up on as many sharp implements and cordless power tools

I'm personally terrified of all zombies (always check the back seats of your car when getting in them, it better to be safe then sorry!) but i think each poses its own threat.

The fast zombies would naturally be much harder to kill/would kill you much easier, but they're always on the move looking for brains and are a little easier to predict (no brains = no zombies). The slow ones throw a curve ball at you, your hunkering down in a small town that was ravaged by zombies months ago, no brains in sight, and right as you fall asleep the slow one walks out of the closet and takes a nice big chomp!

Ahh, I loved 28 days later, easily one of my favorite films.
However when it comes to zombies, Im getting tired of them.
Zombie this, zombie that. Its like, " Cant think of an original idea...Lets take this old idea and make it ZOMBIE! ". Seems to be a " Popular topic + (theme) = profit " trend.
I drew the line after Zombie Disney characters.

I think archery equipment might produce the requisite head wounds! [But, the UK's going crazy on "knife control," so you might wanna stock up and bury a few machetes before the apocalypse!]

    Sticken: That plan is genius!
There's these ruins of castles on the island I live on,(in the UK, so we'd also be weilding gardening tools +pans) my friend says she'd drive there with tonnes of tinned food and friends, and secure it up. It's naturally quite high up, and when the tide comes in it's sectioned off.
I think I'd just run about trying to play the hero and die in an hour or two.

Brad: You're right. What ever speed, they'd be terribly hard to kill. I can imagine that unless you're some sort of trained assassin you're not going to be able to kill one in a matter of just a few swings to the head. xD

Kamber: Believe me, people in the UK manage to find a way to make ANYTHING a weapon. If I didn't have a good butcher's knife, then time to get out the forks.

This thread is fast becoming a favourate. Anny more oppinions you guys?
    What about science vs magic?
I miss the old necromancers... But I love how complex theories they keep coming up with.

    Edit: Wait... Nonobot..

There are disney zombie chars? WHAT?

Well, if classic "Star Trek" has taught us anything, it's taught us that a starship captain on a barren wasteland of a planet can use raw materials and basic chemistry knowledge to create a hand cannon to blast a lizard-man.

So, you could probably fashion nail firing cannons from plumbing supplies and gardening chemicals to defend the castle!

I think I could fashion some kind of DVD catapult that slices zombie heads clean off...I have enough of 'em to make up a decent ammo supply, and when everyone's zombified I doubt I'll have much time to relax with a comedy, and horrors will be a little too close to home to really enjoy, so I doubt I'll miss them too much.

I think we should patent our ideas. We'll become rich + well defended.

On a small side subject: Do you think zombies could be distracted by sausages? Could save lives, that trick could.

I would imagine haggis and raw black pudding would offer a more alluring distraction for them. But if they are anything like the zombies in L4D2, then they'll be more interested in kicking you viciously over and over again then feasting on your brains

Stuck in a building that's slowly becoming surrounded? No worries!
Pick the guy that irritates everyone(there's always one), shove them in a suit of meaty treats and send them running out the window.

Edit: now that I think about it, that won't be too effective if they're fast zombies.
BUT IF THEY'RE SLOW, THEN YOU'VE BOUGHT YOURSELF DAYS.

Well if the zombie horde is made up of people who live in my area then they'll be really really really slow. I could walk right past them before they realise what's going on. I reckon I'll be quite safe in that case.

My street is full of pensioners. So I'd be awwight.

I'd still have a suit of meaty treats in the freezer incase the need ever arose.

Ahh. You can probably tell zombies are a pretty interesting topic for me.

You know, me and a friend were planning on doing a zombie comic. This whole thread is making me nostalgic. Might prod her into starting it up again...

So. Just as a question, how do you lott think zombies should look like?

I guess it depends on the cause and symptoms of this zombie-like state. The traditional view was that they were reanimated dead - a partially functioning brain but dead flesh. So that would mean various stages of decomposition. But I liked the Planet Terror style zombies. Rather than being all rotten and yukky, they looked pretty normal, if not a bit bloody, though some of them demonstrated weird mutations as a result of the bio-agent, and most of them were still pretty cognizant which makes it a bit creepier. A mindless, impulse-driven being nomming on human flesh is one thing. Someone who still has control, at least in part, of their actions is a whole lot scarier.
