    Sketchim

Hello my friends of CA! How are you?
My name is Paulo Phillipe Rocha, live in Brazil, I'm 28 years old, and I visited this forum in recent months, but only now, at the beginning of this new year I got the courage to open my own topic. I have aspirations to work in the area of entertainment, but I'm starting now to the drawing and other arts, I've been a programmer (not related to entertainment) in recent years, and now I'm willing to engage the arts. I know I'm getting late, but am willing to face this challenge. Thank you for visiting my sketchbook and I hope I can grow much talking to you!

    Big hug to everyone!

PS: Sorry if I wrote something wrong, but my English is not very good.

Great work man. That body feels really "feminime". Great curves.

I'm no good with anatomy so I can't really comment on that but I believe that the face is kinda flat.

    Keep it up!

Hello friends! How are you? Hope all well! Thanks for the visits and comments!

@ daflom: Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your words!
@ Kalin: Thanks for the encouragement! I always try to improve!
@ Sean McClain: Thanks for the visit and words! I will practice as much as I can!

At the end of January I'll try to get back to university (I'm already graduated), this time in animation, then I have done quite a few classes and drawing. Below are some drawings I did during class ... Some strange compositions, but ... Soon I will show you other works!

I would stay away from color pencils. They can be slow and unforgiving. Concentrate on getting an accurate drawing.

Get a lot of paper and draw. Keep drawing and look for knowledge on the subject. I suggest reading The Practice and Science of Drawing by Harold Speed. You can probably find it in Portuguese .

    Good Luck,

    Mark

Thanks for stopping by my SB Paulo, and keep drawing regularly and you'll improve really fast.

    Nice work keep it up

P.s I find coloured pencils don't really work well on white paper and like using smoother black or brown paper. Also make sure you get some soft crayons as harder ones are really hard to blend together.
Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again?

Thanks for the comments my friends!

@ Msegal: Thanks for the tips and the indication of the book! I'll look for it! Color pencil is actually quite complicated, and I'm only using because they may be asked in the test I have to do to get into college. After the examinations will devote my attention to improving my foundations!
@ Crocley: Thanks for the tips! I will draw as much as time would allow! And then I'll try other materials too! For now is stay focused on exams that are coming!

Here, a few more drawings, this time using only 2B pencil ...
