Sketch mcbook (update: aug29)

Just updated

In the latest piece, was thinking of adding ships and neon messages/signs (indicating bars, clubs etc).

The piece was inspired by films like Blade Runner, Spirited Away and games like Mass Effect 2.. and of course cities like Shanghai, HK, NY

Started as a speedpainting and I detailed it a bit

It took about 4-5 hours;

1.5 for the speedpaint
2 for detail
and about 1 more hour for refining/fixing up

Hey, I've looked through yout Sketchbook and thought I'd leave a comment

First off: Awesome Environments I just have a little advice:
Maybe in some images like the robot in post 110 you could try to push the values a little more to divide fore and background a little more.
But thats just my opinion

I would appreciate if you comment on my sketchbook too.
I'll stop by now and then in the future
