studies and some heads out of my head
all continued studies except the one
more updates soon
some speed paints all under half an hour. They were done on a projector so the contrast/colour is weird and I get alot of distortion as well
hey, i like your weird druggy style. lol, sorry just reminds me of some graffiti stylin' i sometimes see.

i think i know what style you're going for. it seems to be a loose, aproximate, structural figure. like if you carve basic shapes out of wood, and then cover in a layer of paint for fine rendering. it shouldn't be too hard to follow this through, but you need to be aware of your specific rules and how you express character with those peculiar rules.
@catish that's what my stuff looks like now, I guess the reason I am doing so many studies is to move away from it or at least have a stronger foundation. STUDY STUDY STUDY.
gestures and a photo study before I go to bed

I used a few references for the figure in the middle this time. Not sure if it's all right, but I can't spend any more time on it.
studies for a job coming up and sleepy bed time anatomy
good night!
quickies today
study!
it struck me that I am not doing enough stuff out of my head so I knocked out these silhouettes in the hopes that it would sustain that part of the creative process for the moment.
this screen cap really got the best of me it feels pretty embarrassing to post but you live and learn
just did this quick exercise
good photo resource for varied portraiture but you have to dig to get some high res stuff, good for lawls as well

Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook.
I can't believe more people aren't commenting on your sketchbook though. I just browsed your two pages and am already liking what I'm seeing. I especially love the warm colours and the bright sceneries. Probably because I've always like bright places.
Keep up the studies and coloured pieces. I'll have to make sure to start making my own.
I'll be keeping an eye on this sketchbook
Thanks vydos, I'm trying not to saturate my environments too much but right now I'm painting alot of scenes that are totally flooded with light.
two wips
first one is a tiki inspired comission

Hey there, thx for stopping by. I've got to say that you should spend more time with references - this will improve your rendering skills. Wish you luck mate!

Getting into this cereal box thing
step by step day by day
The figure isn't finished but I'll get to the final touches soon. Just arranging the other elements now. I made the spoon from scratch in illustrator and got the splash from a vector stock pack. Now I need to add some painterly qualities to the the vector elements and paint the cereal. Hopefully I'll be done by tonight.
...and it's pretty much done. For a joke this project really went a little too far. I'm happy that I could find something to put over the hand at the bottom because I was having issues with it- should do some hand studies soon.
*edit anyone want to critique the figure or design? I was thinking about submitting it to an online 'zine.
loomis and some 90 second stuff
more loomis and quick study
posemaniacs with some different techniques and some photo study stuff
sp, photo study and planar face
I'm having some issues with this figure now I'm trying to tighten it up.
Some studies from tonight.
