recently repainted this concept in acrylic. I think the new one is much better, but I feel like the light source on the submariner dude is a little strong.
Something I'm working on right now. And just in case any one is wondering, yes I am totally posting one picture at a time to bump my thread. Where are all my crits?
Lovely sketches you've got in here! That's something I definitely need to work on. I'm digging your handling of color, esp in that cityscape piece (nice perspective too).
Nice art!
bit more work, trying to soften to light source and re-define the edges
Sweet pencil sketches!
Hello mate, very nice, you work a lot thats good. Keep up drawing, keep up the anatomy studies and your value studies. Dont worry that much about color right now, your values need work. Its good that you are doing 3d it will help a lot. Keep up the good work!!!![]()

all done. this is a bad picture, it kind of blows the contrast way up, it's much more desaturated and low contrast.
#82 has wicked sense of humor. I like it.
Master line work in general - anatomy and perspective. It will pay you off in big time.
@k2mountain thanks mate, working on it, those pieces are from like 2 years ago now. LOL. All the more reason to fill this book up with good stuff.
srsly I have no idea what I'm doing.

You have an interesting style going on
but your anatomy and perspective issues are holding you back a bit.
Always establish a horizon and rough perspective points.
It's quite apparent when you draw 3/4 views. The head also lies in 3D space.
If you extend the construction lines of the features they should usually meed at the horizon.
Hope that helps!
Hi xelar, I've just made some quick perspective lines on these two paintings. Am I missing something? Could you do a paint over for me?

Sure.
Pretty quick one but I hope you get where I'm going with it
